After reaching out to Anker support, they confirmed that the item was still under the manufacturer warranty and issued an immediate replacement shipped directly to me. I received the new unit and it works great just like the original one. I am still a bit skeptical about the durability of the flip connector, but Anker support has been exceptional so far.

I really enjoy Anker products because of the quality and especially these new designs that come in fun colors. I even bought the lighting 5 ft cable and wall charger in the matching blue color.
This was a really handy device to have when going to concerts because it could fit into small purses without adding too much bulk. I’d say it charged my phone to 100% about 1.5times.
