    The cover is 5 plus stars . The story is 4 stars . Maybe if it was longer so that there is more body to the story . Its a very short story .

    This story has so much potential. However, it overlooks so many details I don’t know whether I like or dislike this to short story.
    She’s sick, our hero heals her but how?
    He picks all the ingredients to make bread and butter (??) There is mention of wings, but then what happened to them? There are more, but I’m going to leave spoilers out because the story has potential.

    I almost feel like we are reading an outline that had a few sections flushed out but left out plot details to write in later.

    If the story blurb sounds interesting, try the story. But fair warning, the story ends at 85% and I’m not sure if I’m glad I read this or not. I’m not sure I’ll read another story by this author.

    I really wanted to like this, but there are so many continuity issues, plot holes, and overly flowery phrases that it ended up just being clunky and irritating. Do not recommend.

    I like the story it does have some emotional parts in it and deals with trauma. But overall, I do like the story I just wish that it was more longer and more in detail about their relationship.

    I liked the plot, the read was pretty quick; one spice scene.
    Two things really bugged me, the dialogue was set as during one time period but the characters would occasionally say more modern things. And the other was that the author was very, sometimes overly descriptive, on repeat. The character would think something, extrapolate about it, then in a paragraph or two have the same thought but worded very slightly differently. Kind of distracting.
    While the demon could have been more demon-like, I did enjoy the story overall and would read another from this author.

    I really love a quick cleansing story between long books and series. This does the job. It is emotion provoking right away, the writer is able to engage the fmc and give you all the feels. Then once you are hooked it gets climatic and the a HEA! Loved this short story!!
