Double check the dimensions

The dimensions were slightly different than the same size unit that was being replaced. This unit was almost an inch longer and less width than a Kenmore of the same stovetop size. This requires the countertop replaced as well. The item performs VERY WELL, not dissatisfied at all. One thing to note, these burners will get hot with nothing on them. They don't require a pot / pan to be there. Not a big deal as long as you are aware of it. Keep a can of Easyoff oven cleaner handy. It is about the only thing to keep the top clean and streak free. The dark shiny glass top shows EVERYTHING ! It does however performs very well

Check the cutout size before purchasing this cooktop

Previously purchased cooktops that were purchased 40 and 15 years ago fit the same cutout size. I thought cutout size is common to all cooktops. I was wrong. This one requires larger cutout. I had to cut the tiles. My pots, which fit the coiled heating elements well, make poor heat contact to this cooktop. It looks like I need to purchase very flat bottom pots.

The two burners that are in front should be where the three burners are (switch the position of the burners) as we prefer to use them than the one in front (more practical)

Works great for the price

I had to replace my top stove and found this would fit my previous cooktop perfect which it did. Hookup was easy and insturctions were clear. Although there is a power boil, which works very good, some of my pots are quite large so when you have 2 pots together it does get a bit crowded and the are very close to each other. My other cooktop had more space between burners but it does work. I would recommend this for anyone needing to replace their cooktop. I had looked for quite a while to find the right one and I am satisfied. Recommended.
