The adhesive has proven to be an incredibly reliable and strong for various projects around the house. I’ve used it on wood and metal so far, and it has held up remarkably well in all applications. First things first, this stuff is seriously potent. We're talking hold-a-brick-to-the-ceiling potent. Picture this: I accidentally glued my work boot to a 2x4. Did it ruin my day? Kinda. Did it destroy the bond between the wood and my boot? Absolutely not. Had to saw the boot off, but that 2x4 wasn't going ANYWHERE.

Very messy to use (especially in caulking gun format) but excellent adhesion. Seems to hold up well on exterior applications.

Used this to repair loose slate step and it worked just as I needed it to. Previously tried other construction glues but all worked poorly. I am very satisfied with this product.

This adhesive is great. I have used it for many different processes over the years. I actually just used it to patch a pair of leather boots where the stitches were coming out. It has been three weeks of me walking on this adhesive, and I am not a small mammal, and it is holding great. This is however not the intended purpose of this adhesive. I have used it for a ton of recommended uses and as long as you are patient and fully follow the directions this stuff will hold for many years. I once used it to adhere carpet tack strips to concrete and had to chip a lot of it off when I went with a different flooring a decade later. Just saying....It sticks stuff together.

We originally 'discovered' Loctight PL Premium adhesive to use in bedding a rubber seal-strip across the concrete floor to interface with a rubber strip on the bottom of our shop door. The PL Premium stuck the strip to the concrete and it has stayed stuck for several years, duing all sorts of weather, heavy equipment rolling across it, and plenty of wash water.
More recently, we had a recurring problem with terra-cottta tile thin-setted to the tile board base beneath our wood stove. The thin-set mortar couldn't handle the wide temperature fluctuations...and the tiles kept coming loose. Once loose, some were cracked by hard use. And a perfect match replacements are hard to find (read: expensive).
So we removed the loose tile, cleaned, scraped, and brushed the base board. Then we wiped with isopropol alchohol and applied the PL premium in strips. We set the tile on top and pressed hard to set the adhesive. A day later, we tested the tile and found them solidly stuck to the base board. Then we finished with a wiped coat of light gray mortar to fill the spaces between tiles.
It should be good for years of use.

I wasn’t too impressed with the holding power. I put it on very generously under some very thin cosmetic diamond plate and it didn’t hold. It also dried hard and not playable. Maybe just use it like caulking.
