This yarn is a cotton plus bamboo. It is easy to work with, however, it is a bit splitty. It is much softer than most "cotton" yarns. I am making a cardigan out of it with a 4.5mm needle. I am also making tea cups out of it using a 2.5mm needle. Surprising, it is not difficult to use the small needle with this yarn and the tea cups are coming out with a nice firm form and a nice sheen.

I bought this to crochet some summer tops. I love the feel of this yarn and how soft it is. This was also a good price. You should be aware this is not a tight spun yarn and can separate easily, but that it why it gives such a nice drape to your garment. I am not sure about washing the top as it is not started but will update if there is an issue.

I love this yarn. It’s a beautiful color, is very soft, and was very easy to crochet with. I made a summer tank top and this yarn was the perfect weight for the project.

I bought this to make "knitted knockers" (google them) which are a feminine knitted prosthetic for women who have had breast cancer and a resulting mastectomy. This is one of the brands recommended by that organization because it is very soft and stays soft even after washing. I was pleased with the way they came out. I gave it four stars however, because the yarn is very prone to splitting when you work with it. I had to use double pointed needles, and I often had to go back and redo a stitch because part of the thread was hanging off and forming a loop in the front or back of the work. I wish it were a little easier to work with, as you do have to pay attention to what you're doing so as not to spit this yarn. Probably due to being made from bamboo which doesn't stick to itself the way that wool does, but it's more durable and washable so I guess it's a trade off.

This is my first purchase of cotton/bamboo yarn. It is a thin yarn so I am crocheting with 2 strands together and it is working up so pretty! I have 2 daughters expectating babies. Ì will probably use this yarn for blankets for both babies. It splits a little, just have to watch it!

I don’t necessarily agree with the reviews that said this is hard to work with. Yes the threads aren’t twisted like some heavier yarns but I didn’t have an issue with it. Maybe it depends on the size needle? I am in the middle of crocheting a sweater and I love it. It’s not hard and stiff like when I use 100% cotton yarn. Good luck.
