    This was a gift. She loved the design how sturdy it was. The way she was able to move the laptop around and adjust it to her needs. Very functional and that the way it was designed. Had no problem assembling it and was able to adjust it easily . The price was great for me. Thanks

    I ordered this product and one from another manufacturer to decide which one I liked best. This product was sturdier and serves me better. I love the fact that you can rotate the base. Excellent product and I would buy again and again.

    Wow, this stand is awesome! So sturdy, easy to set up, well there is no assembly required you just open it. You can easily adjust the height to your liking and fold it back up for storage. It’s definitely got some weight but for good reason. Good value for money. Hold my heavy-ish laptop with ease.

    I have had this for four months so far and have used it a couple of times a week. I did look at some more expensive options that might rise up a bit higher but otherwise have the same functionality and breathing room underneath the laptop.

    This one looks sharp, is sturdy, and I can raise it high enough on a desk/table high enough to have ideal screen height while using a separate keyboard and mouse with a 13 laptop. I have no worry whatsoever that the stand will fall apart or the laptop will drop. I love the swivel. The swivel is super light and easy.
    It's much harder to raise and lower but this is a good thing and it's not difficult. It just takes two hands to get it done unlike one little push of a finger for the swivel.

    It folds back to compact for storage if needed, which may also require two hands depending on how you have it angled when in use. It's a bit heavy for travel and probably would not take it with me unless I was going to be gone for an extended period of time and needed to do a lot of work -or maybe consider a lighter, more compact stand for travel.

    If it holds up well with consistent use for at least a year, I'll bump this up to 5*.

    Update: While I stand by my positive comments, below, I have to add that, “as is” the stand unfortunately overheats my MacBook Pro 13” (the depth of the shelf is about 3/4” too much, and the rear of the shelf covers the vents on my laptop). I noticed that my computer started to overheat, and the fan was rapidly working to cool my computer, twice after the first two uses of this stand. It’s quite loud, so if it happens, you will notice! This had never happened with my computer before, so I visited Apple’s support forum and ran some diagnostics. There were no issues with my computer, which was when I noticed the positioning of the vents in relation to the new stand. I cut a white eraser in half to prop the computer up higher, and the issue has not come back. See my last photo. I don’t love this solution, aesthetically, so I might be searching for a stand that fits better.

    The most distinguishable feature of this compared to other stands, in my opinion, is that the lip of the device has a 90° angle. This creates a great ledge for a more steep incline, Which helps me arrange my laptop so that the screen can sit higher, closer to my main monitor. I like that it’s white and blends in with my desk for less visual clutter, too. The rotation helps a lot as well. I like to move my laptop, right or left when I am on video calls.

    I am a huge fan of stands for my tablets and notebook PCs -- ('laptop' should be an obsolete term -- those were made in the 1980s-1990s, weighed 8+ pounds, and were thick. HP calls theirs 'notebooks') -- but I digress. Keeping my electronics cool is a priority, thus the need for decent stands with room for small fans underneath. This SOUNDDANCE is solidly built, has an easy turning with a tight angular table, and can easily handle the weight of this older Dell Inspiron notebook. The color has a baked-on feel, smooth. It comes with a handy wrench for tightening or loosening the nuts as needed. Excellent! I'll probably be getting another one!
