5.0 out of 5 stars This is a really nice quality tool at a nice price-point - lets me see between engine and firewall.

I had a situation where the oil-pressure sensor/sending-units on both of my Chevy V-8 vehicles failed within two weeks of each other. The first one I replaced, I did "blind" by working by feel since there's no way to directly see the sensor behind the intake air plenum and the fuel rails, etc - that was the 8.1L - it wasn't easy to find and get the old part out and getting the new part back in was worse. Then I got to the 6.0L - it was somehow even tighter quarters, even with the smaller engine. My hands are relatively large, and I had trouble getting my hand/forearm in to get to the sensor on the 8.1 - the 6.0 was even tighter, so I ordered this tool. Now I'm wishing that I had gotten this scope before swapping out the sensor on the 8.1L - it made it so that I could see exactly where the sensor was, see the locking-clip on the wire connector to get that loose easily, and then get the socket onto the sensor to remove it. Then, getting the new sensor threaded in straight was MUCH easier by using scope - could see exactly where the port was to get it lined up.
The LED light at the camera end is nice and bright and has multiple brightness levels in case things are too reflective in the space you're using it when on full power.
The battery life seems really good too - I had it turned on for about 1 hour to do that job with the LED lights on full-power, and the battery-level still says it's at 100%.
This scope is much nicer than ones that I had used in the past - due to the longer cable, you can set up the screen somewhere stable and where you can see it easily, and then fish the camera in where it needs to be without disturbing the position of the screen. Even in the bright midday sun, the screen was plenty bright for me to see in the shade of the open hood. I did make one minor modification due to previous experience with other scopes - I took a paint marker and put a white stripe on the camera housing to indicate the "top" of the lens - makes it easier to fish the camera into places in the orientation that you want - that's what I show in the third picture. I like this scope much better than the Milwaukee scope I had bought years ago - this one has a MUCH better and larger screen, and a MUCH longer cable, and the cable is much more manageable with regard to being able to manipulate it without displacing the screen position - so much more convenient to use.
This tool easily paid for itself in reduced frustration and by greatly reducing the time it took me to swap out that one sensor - probably cut more than an hour off of the job for me judging by how much faster I got the 6.0L sensor swapped out than the 8.1, even with the fact that the space I had to work was smaller and the angles to get to the sensor were more challenging.
I would definitely recommend this tool to anyone - don't think it can be beat - especially at this price-point In fact, I'd say this tool is a "must-have" for anyone who works on cars or does other repairs where you can't get your head in a position to see what you're working on - from a frustration-saving standpoint, you really can't afford NOT to have this.
It's simple enough to use that anyone who has the aptitude to do minor repairs should be able to figure out how to use it without even reading the instructions - but I looked over the instructions anyway (after using the scope to do that first job) and they are well written.

I recently purchased the SKYBASIC Industrial Endoscope Borescope Camera with Light, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in every way. This device has quickly become an invaluable tool for my work, allowing me to inspect hard-to-reach areas with ease and precision.

One of the standout features of this endoscope is its 4.3-inch LCD screen. The display is crystal clear, providing a high-definition view of the inspection area. The images are sharp and detailed, enabling me to identify even the smallest defects or issues. The screen is also conveniently sized, striking a balance between portability and visibility, making it comfortable to use for extended periods.

The built-in LED lights on the endoscope are incredibly bright and adjustable, ensuring that I always have adequate illumination in dark or poorly lit spaces. This feature has proved crucial in my line of work, as it allows me to capture clear and accurate visuals regardless of the lighting conditions.

I was particularly impressed by the flexible yet sturdy design of the endoscope. The 16.4-foot long semi-rigid cable is just the right length, providing sufficient reach without being overly cumbersome. The cable is also waterproof, which adds another layer of versatility to the device, enabling me to use it in a variety of environments, including wet or submerged areas.

The ease of use is another aspect that sets this endoscope apart. The intuitive controls and user-friendly interface make navigating through the settings and capturing images or videos a breeze. The device also comes with a microSD card slot, allowing for convenient storage of the captured media for future reference or analysis.

Lastly, the SKYBASIC Industrial Endoscope Borescope Camera with Light offers excellent value for its price. Compared to other options on the market, this device provides outstanding performance and functionality without breaking the bank. The quality of the materials and construction inspires confidence in its durability, ensuring that it will withstand the rigors of regular use.

I highly recommend the SKYBASIC Industrial Endoscope Borescope Camera with Light, 4.3'' LCD Screen HD Digital Snake to anyone in need of a reliable and versatile endoscopic camera. Its exceptional image quality, adjustable LED lights, user-friendly interface, and sturdy design make it a must-have tool for professionals in various industries.

I bought this because I have a motorcycle with a gas filler that is a long tube - makes it difficult to see into the tank. This worked reasonable well for my first test - I need to drain and dry the tank for a full inspection. Not sure I like the tightly coiled cable but it can be straightened and bent to allow access. Once you have one you will find many things to look into 9-)
