It doesn't wrap tight enough around the cane shaft to prevent slipping, but I wrapped a simple zip tie around the middle of it and that holds it in place very securely. Other than that, it's very very strong and stylish. I love it even though it's a bit pricey, but I got an expensive cane too.

These are very well made & will likely last forever! I wouldn’t mind if the wrist strap were a little “softer” - maybe with time. They are a bit pricey but they work well with my walking sticks.

I have MG causing me to need a cane and also causes me not to be able to grip one as I need to. I was always dropping them which has caused me to take a few nasty tumbles in the past. NO MORE!

Not only does this strap help me to hang on to my cane, it also allows the cane to hang onto me when I need my hand to pick something off a shelf without having to lean it against something for it to just slide and fall. Then it maneuvers easily back into position when I place it back down to the floor.

I am always getting compliments and questions about where I got it.

I have two, a black one for my silver topped cane and a dark tan leather, (brown), one for my brass topped cane.

The quality of the leather is good, but the construction of the product is poor. There is a rivet that holds the hand strap, that rivet came apart in the street while I was walking, I had to wire and tape the hand strap to make it functional again, so sad.
