As a TikTok book author, I absolutely loved this book! It was worth every penny, and I enjoyed discovering a new author. The story was so fun to read that I just wish it were longer! I can’t wait to add it to my bookshelf, but I really hope the first in the series gets an expansion. Highly recommend!

Loved this. Was a quick, smutty read with plot. Now I must know what happens to all of them... that cliffhanger was gut-wrenching, and I pray the author does give Severide his HEA. Because damn...

I’m not sure how I feel about this prequel. Started very fast and Insta-love, I usually like fast-paced reads, but this one felt cringy. I almost lost interest and got bored. The words he spoke to her and even his “temperament” were a little weak. I gave it 3️⃣ stars because at 70% the pace was normal the plot picked up my interest, and the ending was perfectly done. Unfortunately, after reading this, I don't even have the desire to continue the series.

Even though this book was short I enjoyed reading it and can’t wait to see what occurs in the rest of the series. This was a great way to start this series and literally leave one thirsting for more. A brutal love story and a love that will never end. Gutted me in the end for the amazing sacrifice. All In all I loved it!

The story is appealing. I see the draw, I definitely want to read the next one. I am assuming this book was mostly a set up for the others. However, with how short it was I really dont feel I gained much of the story at all. There is some repetition, like the talk of a witch they wait for. But the main characters are with you so briefly, I fell there was not enough story. It was literally, *spoiler* "meeting, mating, children, 70 years go by, another child, the end." I'm giving it four stars because despite that, I do want to see what happens with the next one.

Finished within an hour, it was repeative, went by to fast for those who read books with 5-800 pages and spend 15$ on those books. This book was not worth the price. The cover is pretty but other than that it's all it's really good for. I want to know what's next but I don't think it'd be worth it. This book should've been priced at 5.99 the amount of pages and the repeating.

I was in the mood for something paranormal and I go just that. Enter into the world of vampires in Salem.

I would like you to say this is a novella, it is set very fast paced and is a light read. There is spice and teeth and bl00d sharing. You get to see Severide who only wants to find his beloved (true love) and ends up finding his mate. They fall into a whirlwind and you get a glimpse of their life together.

“I swear on my life, I’ll love you until the end of time. I’ll treasure you, cherish you, and f*k you every day to show just how much I mean everything that I say.”
