This stand works great. I have a 17" laptop on it currently. It's very tough to adjust to me that's a good sign it will not more of shift while on this stand. Seams to be very well made. I see this lasting for a while if taken care of just like anything else.

Bought as a gift and my pixie loved it. It was just what he needed. Strong and adjustable to fit his comfort. Not too bulky easy to store. This was worth the buy.

The metal is very well cast/machined, and the joints are nice and stiff which makes it ready to use as it comes. There is a great deal of adjustability, and there should be no issues with modern 17” laptops for those who are wondering. There is even enough room for my small sound bar underneath. It is compact enough to take along in a backpack as well. All in all, this was a great buy. Well designed and well executed. Cheers!

Great little laptop and monitor stand. The bottom edge can be elevated to be pretty much vertical so the lower ledge can go up to 6" about the desk. (I would have preferred taller, like 10", hence only 4 stars) It seems very well made and the base is wide enough to support a heavier laptop. The leg pivot points are nice and stiff out of the box so it doesn't slide out of position while in use, but for those concerned about the legs coming loose over time, this package includes Allen hex wrenches to tighten it back up. I would recommend this unit (if 6" tall is enough for you).
