    I used this torch to toast marshmallows. It is easy to start. Strong flame. Easy to fill with butane. Very powerful and adjustable flame. This is the best kitchen torch I've used.

    This is the second time I've gifted this butane torch. While this most recent purchase hasn't been opened by the recipient yet, the first torch is absolutely loved by the person to whom I gifted it. He says it works very well. He loves the variable flame feature and safety lock, and says he's looking forward to making many crème brûlée and meringues. Big thumbs up!

    Only last a couple months but for the price it was good. After awhile it stopped igniting and got a bit squeaky. Easy to fill takes a lot butane and lasts awhile. More for in the kitchen.. but works for a good dab torch to get you by

    Don't buy all those small, cheap torches. But one of these that not only do the job extremely well but last forever. When mine does kick the bucket, I'll order another. Bar none!

    Use: I bought this to use as an easier way to roast my green chilies and tomatoes. It has worked great for that purpose. Much better than a plumbers torch.

    Pro: Good flame adjustment; no problems with igniter; comfortable; plenty of heat for my purposes. Feels sturdy, but time will tell haw long it lasts. Nice shape-fitting high density foam make for good shipping and storage.

    Cons: Instructions say to not use for more than 2 minutes at a time, unless your lighting a campfire, that is not very long. I used it for 3 x 5-10 min sessions and it is still working fine, but the metal collar gets very hot, as you would expect.

    I only give 4 stars because of 'Don't use for more than 2 minutes' warning, and because time will tell if this item lasts.
