Ash and Mila forever ☀️

If I could give this book 10 stars I would. Layla is one of my favorite authors so this was one of my most anticipated releases for the year and it blew every expectation I had out of the water!

I loved getting to learn more about Ash and see a lot of the things I loved about him from the first book take such a bigger role in this book.

I fell in love with Mila immediately with her pushback and sarcasm. But I also loved seeing her grow and come out of her shell with not only Daddy Ash but the other characters too.

Their banter and relationship had me smiling and laughing the whole time but also gave me all the warm fuzzy feels. The way that Mila opens up and learns to feel comfortable, trust and stay instead of running definitely tugged at my heart. And the way that Ash is sweet with her and will do anything for the people important to him but won't hesitate to do whatever necessary to protect what is his is something I always love seeing in the MMC in Layla's books.

I also loved getting to see Marco, Cole, Freddy and especially Maximo and Juliet in this book. The friendships in this group are the ultimate found family vibes and I can't wait to see this group again in Little Goddess!!!!

I was excited to give Little Sunshine a shot, even though I’m not a daddy kink kind of girly, because I actually enjoyed Little Dove with how much intensity there was in that novel. I didn’t feel quite the intensity with Ash and Mila, although I did still overall enjoy their story. I appreciated getting a clear idea of why Ash is a Daddy and how much say Mila had in the relationship. Mila was stubborn and quick to pull away, but Ash had all the patience with her while still being our strong Alpha male. I enjoyed watching their relationship develop, both with the spicy and the non-spicy. I adored Ash’s family and the extra drama with Mila’s mother. If you’re into daddy kink and age gap romances, this is for you!
