it supposedly installed on my computer but it will not let me activate it. I have entered the code manually 8 times and put in my email and all 8 times it gets about half way around the little swirly thing and then sticks on please wait.... so far each time it have tried it's lasted 15 minutes wait and does nothing. I am trying to put a slideshow presentation for my mothers funeral and the last thing I want to be doing is sitting here at 4 am when I should be sleeping. It has been the worse month of my life watching my mom slowly suffocate and starve to death. I didn't read the part about it being no refund and now I don't have money to buy a different product. this really is the flipping icing on the cake isn't. don't buy this product.

It works. I'm frustrated. It took me about 30 hours to make 30 minutes of pictures with music. Then I went to add the cute hand print opening screen shown on Amazon, really the reason I purchased, I was sent to a website to purchase for $50! That one option! This program only has a generic page opening. Not worth the money!

This is the worst software. I am a technology trainer and was shocked at the issues this software has. I did massive research to try and find out why it kept locking up on me. The only information I could find was incredibly technical and required code changes that no average user would have the first clue how to navigate. If you want a fantastic solid product, buy ProShow Gold. Absolutely fantastic. There is a built-in Wizard to help those who don't want to learn all the technical stuff.

The good news: Unlike Wondershare DVD Slideshow Builder Deluxe, Photostory Easy will produce DVDs that run on all players.

The bad news: Photostory Easy only works properly if you limit your media to images. If you have any videos (e.g. mp4), it will take the audio from those videos and play the audio randomly throughout the slideshow, in places nowhere near where the videos are designated to appear. Customer support was no help at all and they finally offered me a 40% refund (!) on the product.

If you are just using pictures, it's fine. Although there is a surprisingly small number of transitions built in (you can buy more), so that is a strike against it. Unfortunately I have not found a better product.

I loved using this product and made two slideshows for my nieces bridal shower which made everyone laugh and cry. I am great at ideas but not so good with technology and was still able to import video clips, pictures and audio to make two great slideshows. This is the most user friendly software and if you make a mistake it has the all important "undo" button. My two slideshows consisted of audio recorded at my home, old vhs tapes, photographs, scanned photo shopped images and audio recorded from audacity and it all came together. If I had a problem I could google it and a you tube video showed me how to convert a file. My niece is 27 and I had tapes and video from 1990 and forward and it all worked. I am so thrilled with this product that I didn't even buy it from Amazon (I am a prime member and bought all the shower gifts here so I feel like it's ok to post) but had no other way to post a positive for this software. My plan is to take all my current videos and pics of my kids and put them on PhotoStoryEasy as a new way to save. Best thing was that I could import old videos and clip so I didn't just have pictures but videos in my slideshow. I would be happy to answer any questions. By the way, I am very critical and chose to post this long review because I had such a good experience with this product.

I would look for something else. In order to finish my first slide show, the program forced me to buy a codec for $5. I was already committed because I had spent days creating a slideshow. Then, it wanted to charge me for another codec to import a short video clip. It is not that easy or intuitive. I would use something else and I am looking for something different right now.
