    birds love it and squirrels don't. The price is relatively low. As to the nutritional benefits, I don't know. I'm assuming the birds know what their doing.

    These hot-pepper suet cakes are the best. They’re definitely as advertised. The birds love them, but the squirrels do not. Other suet-cake products claim to deter squirrels, but I have found this not to be the case as I’ve tried similarly advertised products. Sticking with Hot Pepper Delight and never going back. I highly recommend.

    This suet definitely keeps the squirrels at bay. Soon as one tries it they bolt. Birds like it and it’s not oily like some suets which I like.

    I bought two 12 packs of these, several months apart. The 2nd pack seems to have more reddish color to it and the squirrels have not touched them. The first 12 pack I bought, the squirrels did seem to eat some of them pretty quickly. Hopefully I just got a bad batch the first time since these really are a great idea for bird watchers. This new batch will last for around 3 weeks with various birds on it for a good part of most days. I guess that's where the saying "eats like a bird" comes from. Gotta admit, the two hanging birdseed feeders I have (100% squirrel proof) get emptied out in as little as 3 days. So while these seem a little expensive, they do last quite a while.

    I’ve seen more birds with this suet alone then I have with most of seed mixes I’ve tried and the squirrels don’t seem to care. Lasts fine in the rain too altho it only makes it about a day or two with how fast the birds eat it.

    The product is great. Birds love it but not the squirrels. However, the delivery was awful!! Left at the wrong house.

    Birds eat it but mammals don't; birds are not sensitive to hot pepper. It's good enough, but I can get it for much less at Home Depot, even though they charge for delivery and Amazon Prime does not. It's a year round suet. C&S calls those doughs, while they call their winter-only suets delights. It's probably too hard for winter feeding in very cold climates. It's fine in Southern New England.
