    I never thought about using my Kindle HD as a camera til the Kindle app ad appeared for sale. Great buy at 99 cents! Downloaded fast and mastered all the features in about 5 minutes, pictures and video. Easy to email. Easy picture special effects. Wish I had seen it sooner.

    The image displayed when using i.e. taking a photograph is inverted. All of my attempts to correct have failed. The help files I found are for how to use not how to fix. Unless one is accustomed to viewing the world inverted, the product is totally useless.

    Buy it right now... Don't listen to the other stupid answers, (unless they have good ratings,) sit down wait five minutes, or thirty and and make a great production with your kindle i- pad or any other device... Make it great... Be a fabulous director of your movie...

    Did not like the pictures it took.......not good results........you can try it, it just didn't work for me, sorry....Good Luck

    Although it's not really obvious, the Kindle Fire HD comes with a built-in camera, and so this app may not really be necessary. (At $0.99, that puts it in the "Oh well" category.). I'm not sure that the built-in includes video, however, which the inFocus does (although I haven't used the video yet). The thing I miss and can't find, though I think it does work in the video mode, is a delay setting, so you can take a picture of something other than your own face! That's an upgrade that the folks at Zynga would do well to program in and make freely available. ("Ba-Zynga." Yes, that may be appropriate....)

    Tis program is essential to opperate the higher end Kindle pads. While they are set up with a camera it is for skyping and computer interaction. This program gives you the ability to use the pad more like the Ipad camera feature. You still have to work at getting a picture, but now it is entirely possible. It is just awkward to face the camera away the way it is set up, but this program gives you the possibilites, and the photos are great.

    The in Focus HD camera makes taking and looking at pics that I've taken so easy. My 3yo granddaughter loves making and watching video's of herself. Also, anything I've been able to download from you tube I can watch on here. Love it.
