I am a fan of the hand-crafted items sellers are offering, especially for tech devices. My previous review on a hand-made watch band for the Apple iWatch inspired me to try a case with similar aesthetics.
The case fits perfectly as is expected with mass produced items, but is done just as well on this lower production run product.
The odd design I mention is a snap on "loop" with 2 different connection points. I though this would be somewhat like a stand, but the material is too flimsy to hold the phone, even in the only orientation it would work with (landscape orientation). The phone just falls over.
So if it isn't a stand, is it a belt loop? I tried that and it did work, but the snaps do not inspire confidence and I caught myself constantly keeping a hand on it when walking around to avoid a drop. Plus it looked silly with the phone seeming to hover on my hip.
There is a slit cut in to the back for storing a few (very few) cards. I managed 3 cards but it was difficult getting them in and in a line for drinks at a recent concert, it caused a bit of a delay as the cards were even more difficult to remove in a timely fashion. That will get better with repeated use I imagine, but I felt it was worth mentioning.
About the materials, only the loop and a "plate" sewn in to the plastic of the case are actually leather, and not high quality leather at that. Feels as much like plastic as the actual plastic parts of the case.
Finally, with the loop snapped in normally. it creates a gap for Qi chargers and does not charge the device. It is required to unsnap the loop and rotate it up and away from the back of the case.

I recently got a new phone, and I was looking for a colorful, leather case. This one fills that need in fine style. The handle doubles as a stand for viewing videos and it looks and feels great to the touch. It provides storage for several cards (although I don’t usually store credit cards on my phone). It’s both stylish and durable and I expect to get years of use out of it.

This case is definitely fashionable and looks and feel very premium. I've been using it for 2 months now and it has no sign of wear or discoloring. It snaps onto the phone easily and provide good protection for the phone if it is dropped. Also very affordable, highly recommend.

Case has gap between phone and case

This case looks nice and feels good in the hand. It doesn't make the phone extra bulky or anything. The one complaint I have is there's a gap between the sides of the case and the phone so when you're holding the phone the case will squeeze in toward the phone and make a clicking or popping noise because of the gap. I hate how that feels personally. Aside from that one complaint the case is fine.
