This puzzle is well made and not cheap looking. The pieces fit in very well so your child should not be frustrated with them not sticking well. The image is nice and clear as well. Good value for the money.

I homeschool my 6 year old grandson and he loves this puzzle. It is a fun way to learn where the states are and their names. Nice colorful pieces. The pieces sit loose up against each other in the frame that snaps together but, we haven't had any problems keeping them in their places. I love making this puzzle also. I am so happy I purchased this.

I absolutely love this world map puzzle for kids! My 6-year-old son has been obsessed with geography lately, so this puzzle was the perfect way to feed his curiosity. The 75 pieces are just challenging enough to keep him engaged, but not too difficult that he gets frustrated. The puzzle pieces are sturdy and durable, and the colorful map with labeled continents is a great learning tool. I appreciate that it comes with a handy storage bag to keep all the pieces organized. Overall, this puzzle is a fantastic educational tool for young children and I highly recommend it to parents looking to teach their kids about the world around them.

I really enjoyed the puzzle. It was very colorful and the pictures representing each state was a bonus. However the puzzle pieces did not lock well and some pieces of the puzzle came bent making the puzzle difficult to lock together. Other than that I think the puzzle was very informative and educational.

We gave this puzzle to our 6-year-old grandson for Valentine's Day. He immediately read: "The United States of America." Then he read the names of the states. I told him that I hoped that he would learn and know all 50 states. He responded: "What? There are 50 states in the United States of America? Whoa! That's a lot!" I then explained that while each state has its own unique characteristics, that all 50 states are united/together under one flag, one God, and one Constitution. The citizens of the United States understand and know that even with all of our positives and negatives that we are the best nation in the world.

I like the sturdiness of the puzzle. I like the exactness of each state's shape. I like that each state has symbols of what the state is known for as in animals, businesses, etc. I love that I can reinforce a love for our country and our Christian values. This map of our country is an excellent teaching tool.

My grandson - aged 9 - and I love puzzles of all sizes, types, etc. I decided this would be a great addition to our collection. He was so excited to open it up and get working on it. It was one of the tougher ones for us to put together because the pieces weren't standard shapes. They are state-specific and/or state groupings in regional areas. It has fun information in the puzzle as well which was fun reading and reviewing after we put it all together. I recommend this puzzle for adults too!

pieces don't interlock

We probably should have figured that state shaped pieces would not interlock. They don't. Consequently the puzzle doesn't hold together at all. The west coast edge pieces are very narrow, so the border/frame is weak. We considered sending it back, but we do like the educational aspect. Being Rocky Mountain and Pacific NW people, we were surprised how little we know of the eastern states locations, sizes and shapes. Hoping our grandkids will become better educated than we are, we glued the border pieces to a 1/4" plywood board. That way the grandkids can work it without getting frustrated. If you want to do this you should first scuff sand the backside of the pieces as their shiny finish is not good to glue. Also plan to spend a couple hours as you must glue and hold down one or two pieces at a time, and work your way around the puzzle, making sure interior pieces fit before gluing each border piece. It takes time to do right.
The cardboard and top finish are very good quality and the kids will like the bright colored states. If you planned to let little kids work the puzzle on a table, realize that it just won't hold together for them. Gluing the border to a board solved the problem, and hopefully the grandkids will work it dozens of times.
