This is a good quality oil filter. K&N usually has top quality merchandise and this is no exception. This filter will cost a couple dollars more than some others but having the 1 inch nut welded on the bottom make this filter easy to remove and/or install, especially if the filter is hard to to reach with pliars.

Used this on my 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Perfect fit. I use K&N filters on all my cars, motorcycles, and my boat. The nut on the back makes them super-easy to get off. I couldn't find the torque spec for tightening this filter on my car. Everything I read just said tighten it "hand tight" so that's what I did, and I haven't had any leaks or issues.

Oil is now black at oil changes. Doesn't smell burt or look gritty just black. I have been using fhram ultra filters and my oil was always a dark brown after 6000 miles but never black. Have 3 vehicles i tried theses k&n filters on and all now have black oil. Not sure if its the filter or the oil but the filter is the only thing i changed in my setup thinking i was improving things. I will not buy again going to try napa platinum filters next

I only use K&N's on my vehicles. I have been building engines for many years and have first hand seen what happens to the inside of engines that have ran cheep filters and low grade oils.
Only cost a few dollars more to use top of the line parts.
