After just 2 years the oven igniter died and had to be replaced. Thankfully, we purchased an extended warranty that covered the repair. However, several years later the same part broke again! Felt like de ja vu after the exact same problem happened with our sams. However the extended warranty had expired and we refused to pay $200-300 every couple of years to repair it, so we decided to switch to an electric stove with a ceramic cooktop. The electric oven is more reliable. Gas ranges are not built to last like they used to be back when they had a pilot light. Not recommended.
