    I used this product for my new freezer. I bought a good home freezer, 15 cu ft, good size, and loaded it up with items from my 40 year old freezer that was on the fritz. First thing I noted that was the three baskets supplied with the new freezer showed signs of stress in the handles as I loaded them up. I was actually afraid that the handles at the edges of the freezer sides that supported them were going to break. I quickly unloaded them and looked for a stronger solution. As the weight spec for these new baskets was set at 25 pounds, that is a lot. The volume and shape of the new Freezermax basket was very similar to those of the manufacture supplied baskets. The adjustable length is a great feature, and the supplied "stops" were easy to fit in place. However I don't find these "stops" rings totally useful as they prevent only one way motion of the baskets. You can't expand it further but it will collapse. I think a better gadget is needed, maybe a clip of some sort. In any case, if you are loading up your freezer with heavy items in basket section these baskets are a good solution because of their strength and flexible length. The picture shows this FreezerMax basket at the top of the freezer and the manufacturer supplied basket with the round meat pie on it. Good fit.

    So when I first bought this I thought it was faulty and wouldn’t last. So much so I was going to have it replaced. Oddly I never actually received the replacement and ended up needing to use the one I had planned on returning. It was the best mishap I could’ve never expected. I ended up loving this! It’s sturdy even though I thought it wouldn’t hold up with some minor inconsistencies in its shape. I am saving up to buy more! I am going to replace the wire baskets my deep freezer came with for this basket instead. I wish I could but all of them already! Truly a wonderful and thoughtful product! It opens to the length you need. Only minor issue is it does rarely expand in length when lifting it up but that’s very rare. I read other reviews that mention this but I believe that could be a very easy fix from the manufacturer with an added lock mechanism. I would still buy more and recommend to others. I guess it would be awesome if the basket was a little deeper but it’s so sturdy I can overstuff it and know it’s still good and holding up!

    Definitely worth the money. I am sorry I didn't buy the double pack, I just ordered a second one. It's wider, deeper, and constructed better than the cheaper plastic models or wire bins. Slides perfectly and can be lifted out easily if needed.

    I have 3 freezers, these fit lower level, no problem. Upper level, baskets fit 2 of the freezers, the other freezer has a shallow landing that the basket sets on and the door has a protruding face and hits basket.
    They hold a lot and slide nicely left to right. They also have a rubber grommet to set the adjustable depth.
    I got 20 Lbs. of meat in each one, very rigid basket.

    Great sturdy baskets for the deep freezer. This keeps my freezer organized and easy to pull things out of. Price is kind of high but worth it as it makes my everyday easier.

    I was having a hard time finding replacement baskets for my brittle, broken Maytag baskets because they were non-standard sizes. I bought these on a whim and I do not regret my purchase. These hold so much more weight than what came with my freezer originally. These are adjustable in length and slide easily side-to-side so I can get underneath them. I thought they were a little high priced, but they have substantially improved the function and ease of use of my freezer. I highly recommend these!

    Item works as described and is very sturdy. However, I had to cut the basket - trim each lip back approximately 3/8" or so - so that my chest freezer door would close fully. The basket "lips" that rest are simply a bit too deep for my chest freezer. Was a little nerve-wracking taking a dremmel to a $45 plastic basket, but it worked great! I clamped down a paint stick/straight edge 3/8" back on the lip and then took a dremmel cutting wheel rested along the paint stick cutting/melting the plastic slowly. I pre-taped with duct tape to ensure no cracking but I don't think it was necessary. I then finished off any melted plastic off the edge with 150 grit sandpaper. Worked like a charm!

    Well designed. Holds near twice the normal wire metal baskets. Our freezer was a bit non-standard in width. This adjusted perfectly to what we needed.
