Made a new gauge display for center console and what I used this for. Tried 1/8” starboard, but it was flimsy. Turned out nice with the gauges and rocker switch. Good quality plastic. They warn you straight up that the material is recycled and don’t use protection sheet on it like most new plastics have. Being a veteran, I was honored to support them with my purchase.

My small project was an inclined base mount for a mobile radio to be installed in my truck. The 12” x 12” x 1/2” piece was perfect for what I needed, cut easily with a table saw, assembled with lock-tight plastic adhesive and countersunk wood screws. Easy-peasy!

I ordered this to be a control panel for a project I'm working on that needs to be radio-transparent. It's hard to see in this picture, but the piece is bowed. As it is, the piece is rigid which is what I was looking for. But in this condition it won't work for me. I don't know if there is a way to flatten it out or not.

I picked this up to use for woodworking stuff like jigs, etc, as well as for cutting some custom-shaped slides and two perforated panels I needed for a project I am doing, and it is doing a fine job.

I can see that plenty of people have commented on the flatness and the scratches on it, but I have never bought thin sheeting like this that was perfectly flat unless it was non-recycled material and coming from a place that specializes in such minimal tolerances for use on stuff like scientific work or extremely fine finished projects. However, this is not the type or thickness of plastic that most people would use for such projects. And they tell you in the description it has scratches on it, so you are forewarned about that in case you do happen to need it to be scratch-free.

It is nice and slick and slides across surfaces nicely, and while mine had the same sort of hills and valleys present on it that have been noted in other reviews, we are talking about thin plastic sheeting that has been made, then stored in a warehouse, then shipped to another warehouse, then shipped to me. I am not sure how you would ever be able to do all that without it warping like this. Plus it looks the same as the stuff I can go buy at a plastic place here in town, and they are an upscale place that specializes in displays, etc, here in Las Vegas where that stuff is important, so if they could keep it flat I am sure they would, but instead the affordable thin stuff like this that they carry looks about the same.

It also cut well on the CNC, and the parts came out nice and clean and were easy to flatten with the heat gun in a few seconds then I laid it on the concrete floor and put a piece of wood over the parts and some weights and left them for the night and they were perfectly flat when I pulled them out. Not sure how long they will stay that way here in Vegas with our heat, but then again the panels are only 8"x8" and 7"x11", so they might keep the shape.

Good affordable HDPE sheeting for shop projects, plus this company helps veterans out, so that is nice too.

Size correct but came all scratched and chipped edges like it was cut with a circular saw. Cut fine on my cnc, but couldn't get the scratches out so it was scrap. You get what you pay for.
