Very Handy Little Gadget

I don't normally write reviews but when I buy something that "works as advertised", I want to let others know about it. I'm very happy with this purchase. The Airmoto is lightweight, has an easy-to-read display, and is very simple to use. All you do is attach it to your tire, set the required PSI, press the start button and away it goes. It shuts itself off once the required PSI is reached. I haven't used it to inflate a completely flat tire but I have used it to top up my underinflated tires. So far, it's worked flawlessly. After it runs out of power, you simply recharge it with the included USB cable. It doesn't inflate as fast as an electric inflater, but it does get the job done. I own an electric inflater but the Airmoto is going to become my go-to inflater. My wife plans to take it with her when she goes biking. I would definitely recommend it.

Not much to say. The directions are clear, the device is extremely portable and comes in a nice little pouch, it's easy to use, and gets the job done without any need for elbow grease.

Good Air Pump

Purchased this for my motorcycle as many times I will leave and not check my tire pressure thinking about it when I am on the road. Easy enough pull over and do this. Easy enough to preset the pressure and quick enough to boost up. If over inflated there is a relief valve to deflate to the proper pressure, but you really do not overinflate. Pump will shut off at whatever you preset it to. Do not disconnect when the pressure is displayed, wait for it to stop or you may lose 1 psi. Extremely accurate as I have checked this also with a tire gauge. Also use it on my pickup and sedan. Strongly recommended, small enough and stores easily.

Low Pressure, No Problem - Compact and Easy to Use

I overheard my friend's wife tell him that her SUV had a low tire pressure, and she needed him to take care of it. Having just purchased the Airmoto, I felt this was the perfect time to give it a try. I opened the unit and read the instructions, and it was really easy. I adjusted the default tire set pressure from 35 psi to 36 psi. I connected the shradder valve of the unit to the low tire, and it read an initial value of 28 psi. I turned on the unit and it began to inflate. It took approximately 3 minutes to inflate the tire from 28 psi to 36 psi. I thought the unit would automatically shut off at 36 psi, but maybe it didn't or perhaps I shut it off too soon. I didn't want to over inflate so I just stopped the unit. The unit worked perfectly fine though.

I have "run flat" tires, meaning if a tire is punctured and looses air, you can still drive on the tire for about 50 miles. The novelty is no repairs, calling AAA, etc. However, you have to buy a new tire. One of my tires has a small leak that is problematic during cold weather. (It doesn't leak in the summer and the tread is still very good). Last winter, I went to a gas station about 15 times to top off one tire and balance the weight on all four. I saw this gadget on a YouTube commercial, took notice, and then did my research on Amazon.

Straight out the box, it took one hour to charge the battery. It hooks up very easily to my computer. I watched all the instructional videos on this site, so I was able to skip the instructions. This baby is very simple to operate. I should point out, after I fully charged the battery, it lost some power overnight. It took six minutes to fill my tire from 26.5PSI to 34PSI. During that time, the battery quickly zapped. (You measure the strength of the charge based on a flashing yellow LED that will change to flashing green, and once it's steady green, it's fully charged). After I used my device for the six minutes that did the trick, it took another 45 minutes to fully charge the battery on my computer.

PROS: Very compact. Very easy to use. It will make your life easier avoiding gas stations and all the headaches that come with other motorists and scrambling to supply air to your tires in less than two minutes. The sound of the device while pumping is not that bad.

CONS: You'll have to fully charge the battery before pumping air. I'm sure it connects fine to the port inside my car, but the charging system in a vehicle as opposed to a computer can tend to take more time. It took me six minutes to pump about six pounds - so, I'm guessing one minute for each PSI. If you're pumping more than one tire and require, say a total of 10 PSI's, you're going to have to recharge the battery in order to accomplish such as task.

Overall, for the price, simplicity, and effectiveness, this is a 5/5 for my needs.

It's a very useful, simple tool. Works perfectly. Battery just barely works for 4 tires for a car.

Overall this is a great product. It really simplifies keeping tires inflated to the right pressures. Very easy to use.

Couple things to note - if you have 4 tires on a car that should be 32psi, and they're at 25psi, this takes a good 5 minutes or more per tire, and the hose gets hot, plus the battery just barely lasts. It DOES last, so that's good and it doesn't take terribly long to fully recharge, but it's more useful to just top off a tire or two on one or two cars. But it does do the job!

One more thing - a regular Apple USB-C charger doesn't seem to work with this. But an older iPhone charger does work. The charging light should come on when plugged in, whether the unit it on or off.
