I recently purchased this battery booster after walking out to a dead battery a few weeks ago at the supermarket and had to contact my roadside service provider to come give me a jump. I was impressed with the description and price after shopping around. I charged it up the day it arrived and put it in my car the next morning. Amazingly, I experienced a dead battery again later that same afternoon ! In less than 4 minutes the car was started and I was on my way ! I can't recommend this product any stronger ! It's easy, small and powerful and it does the job immediately when you need it ! I even got one for my sister for Mother's Day. Get one for anyone you know that might be out driving alone so they don't ever have to worry about a dead car battery again (and have to rely on the "kindness of strangers !").

I have zero car skills, as evidenced by the fact I keep letting my car battery die (I only drive it like once a month). This rechargeable battery pack is absolutely idiot-proof and is a must have. Very clear instructions. Small compact case is portable and fits in any bag. Works on my SUV. I recharge after each use but you can get 2 shocks out of the unit before recharging. Very, very worth it.

Update.
Upgrading to 5 stars.
Used it a couple times yesterday.
It now works attaching black to ground.
I always push the boost button but not sure if it makes a difference.
If the car does not respond, I have just had to reconnect the clamps and then it works.

In general each boost seems to lower bars by one or two.

I used it tonight. It was fully charged.

I did as instructed except I connected the black to my car ground.
The lights turned solid green so I did as it says and went to start my car.
Did not work.
Disconnected ground and put the black on my negative terminal.
The light turned green.
The car did not start properly.
Went back and pushed the Boost button and thought I heard a click.
According to the instructions boost is only needed if the light blinks green not if it is is solid.
Maybe you are supposed to push it regardless.
At this point I was down to one bar.
Anyways, my car started.
So now I am recharging it.

The instructions say to keep it charged over 75 %. I would agree as looks like each attempt drew about 25% +.

Also I was using this on a plug in hybrid which does not take many Cold Cranking Amps to start.

I also am keeping a small sealed lead acid battery in my car as my battery has been unreliable recently, but thought I would give this a go.

I think it will be useful as a back up charger for my phones.

It did work though so pleased about that. Not sure if I am completely confident it will work on a regular car, but I cannot say it won’t.

It is nicely made. Very lightweight. Feels good quality.

This little baby works! We have a 2015 Cadillac SRX SUV and it started it right up out of the box! No problems at all! Simple to use and assemble. Doesn't get any better than this for the price and ease of use! Definitely recommend!

My mom lets her car die or needs me to jump a car for her all the time so I figured if this worked well enough it was worth the price. I was wrong thinking this wouldn't work that well because it is POWERFUL.

She had a car sitting since 2020 and was trying to get it to start, the battery can't hold a charge but I tried this just to see and it would keep a long dead battery running until the boost shuts off after a few minutes. We couldn't get that car to start at all with any other kind of jumper cables or different car batteries to jump it from.

This would be a great item for your emergency kit as long as you keep it charged.

I've been using an older jump starter for my car for years and it always started the car until the last time my battery went dead. Fortunately, I purchased 2 - AstroAI S8 jump starters for my wife's car and son's car. I had to use one of the Astro jump starters to jump the car. It work to start the car after I pressed the "boost" button on the starter. It is very light weight and compact and has 2 ports to change cell phones.
Update: I have used the AstroAI S8 several times since my first review and like it so much that I purchased a third one. Now all 3 of are cars carry a jump starter.

I buy so much on Amazon I always kid myself by saying I’m a share holder. And I always get prompts to give a review. I seldom do but when a product moves me I have to say something. This car battery jumper is awesome. My car had been sitting with a dead battery for months. Bought this guy, hook it up, hit the button and bamb!!! Car starts up!!! To be so small it packs a punch!
