    I have used larger bottles of this repellent before, but decided to order a smaller version to bring while traveling. As someone who greatly suffers from just one bite due to an allergic reaction, an effective bug spray is very important to me. This repellant has a pleasant smell in my opinion but does get aerosolized easily (causing a bitter taste if inhaled, so close your eyes/mouth and hold breath while applying) and can cause sticky/oily spots on the floor where you apply the repellant indoors. This repellant works really well and I only got one mosquito bite during 2 weeks of travel in a humid/hot climate. With reapplication throughout the day, the risk of bites definitely goes down for me as well. This repellant is affordable, the bottle lasts a good amount of time, and it is overall a great alternative to DEET, so I regularly recommend it to friends.

    I was actively being bitten by mosquitoes, put this on, saw one fly up to my leg and fly away. Best bug spray I’ve ever used.

    Not what you want to use but works - you can use less if you are tactical about it - like spray top of your head, shoulders ankles and feet

    I love being outdoors in summer, especially in evenings and nights. Mosquitoes and flying insects often spoil the evening. I hate having to use most insect repellents because they are oily and smelly and I feel like I have to shower before I go to bed after applying them. Not with this spray, it goes on quick and easy, it dries with no sticky residue and does not have a smell. More importantly, it does work just as well if not better than the more popular insect sprays. Be careful if you buy it though, because all your friends are gonna want to use it too and then you’ll find yourself having to buy even more! :-)

    In the height of the Florida summer you play golf in extreme heat and humidity so you play as early in the morning as you can. Your clothes are drenched in sweat and around sunrise there is no breeze. These gnats swarm your face invade your eyes and ears. No repellent keeps them away. But I just found this product and it actually worked for 14 holes of no wind golf. I reapplied and it kept them away the remainder of the round. Be careful when you reapply if you rub into your skin it makes your club grip slippery. Most days you can apply before you leave your house and then wash hands. The wind usually prevents gnats later in the round.

    I purchased this product to bring along on a beach vacation to prevent being bitten by no-see-ums. While the 3-ounce volume meets TSA 3-1-1 liquid requirements for carry-on baggage, the HEIGHT OF THE BOTTLE is problematic. The spray bottle is so tall that it does not fit upright (or even horizontal) inside an approved size 3-1-1 bag, especially when the bag is loaded with other liquid-filled containers. For reference, the bottle is 6-1/4” tall (height) WITHOUT the outer protective shipping cap and 6-1/2” tall with it. The other two dimensions are 1-13/16” across (length) and 1” deep (width) for reference. When I realized it would not fit inside my bag, I searched for a smaller container and found that this same product is sold in a small spray tube containing 0.50 ounces of repellent, so I purchased 3 of them and was able to fit 2 inside my 3-1-1 bag and 1 inside my husband’s. Unfortunately this size is not sold on Amazon so I bought it from a sporting goods retailer locally.

    Regarding the efficacy of the product, I sprayed it on the exposed skin on my feet and legs while walking and sitting on the beach/sand and did not get bit at all. So a big thumbs up to the effectiveness of the product! Based on this, I would recommend the product.

    TIP: If you do purchase the 3-ounce spray bottle, you may wish to buy an EMPTY 2-ounce spray bottle (available on Amazon or at local drug stores or mass retailers) and transfer Picaridin from the original packaging into it as an efficient way to fit it inside your 3-1-1 bag. Or consider the spray tubes if you can find them at a retailer near you.

    I’ve used this product in South American rainforest and humid fields in Florida. It works amazingly well to protect me from bug bites, while also not irritating my sensitive skin. Highly recommended!

    The mosquitoes were terrible the last few years. This year I purchased this and it helped so much. I could absolutely tell the difference from when I was wearing it and when I did not wear it. Moving forward, I will not be caught without this. I even purchased the spray and aerosol. I keep some in my car, my backpack…everywhere. 100% recommend!
