Okay, so. I'm a big guy. I got veneer floors. On my computer a lot. My computer chair has torn the floor, so wanted a non-transparent covering. The price was too good to pass, but I had low expectations. Got the mat in the mail. It was folded up like a bed sheet. Instructions are to lay it out, iron the wrinkles (folds) out of it, then peel the "backing" and stick it on the floor. Okay so. Wrinkles came out very easy and looked fine. Was concerned the bottom would stick to the floor (peel and stick kind of thing), but it did not. In fact it's not a sticky think at all, it's just tacky so it doesn't slide. My next concern was the edges in that, if my chair rolls off, will it pull the mat up trying to get back on top of it. It did not. So. Bottom line. I hope I covered any concerns. This is the one to buy. Great price. Looks great, and works fantastically especially for big people in computer chairs all day long!

It isn’t the best quality I’ve ever seen, but it definitely isn’t the worst. 4 stars because it was a hassle to iron. Like many have stated, JUST ROLL IT UP. No need at all to fold.

Descent quality, it will do the job. For how long? We shall see. I like that it isn’t too thick so we are stumbling over it since it’s in our kitchen. Don’t love that it’s “carpet” and not very washable (but I knew that going in). Looks nice in our beautiful kitchen. Easy to cut down to size, I used a regular scissors.

Easily moved and secured somewhere else, it isn’t sticky like tape, but tacky like an old used piece of tape. Worth the $16, making it disposable if I hate it.

Not as thick as I would've liked, and it was also getting caught with the chairs wheels, the fix I did was putting the carpet under the desk to hold it in place. Overall still good for the money and especially for the wood floors.

We recently got new carpet in the bedrooms. My son's gaming chair are already rubbing a path in the new carpet. Was hoping this mat would save my carpet. The mat will not stick to the carpet. We even tried using additional adhesive. I'm sad we didn't get this all figured out before the window to return.

These are not like those ugly plastic office mats. These seem strange at first because they come folded but you can iron out the creases easily. And when they are on the floor, they are very low profile, quiet, stick to the floor without adhesives. They look really nice. I would order again.

I got my floors redone (thanks leaky roof!) And they were replaced by a much nicer material than I had so I got this to put under my desk chair to protect the floor...performs well with the chair I have and saved my floors! I use a carpet sweeper to clean it.

This mat went down smooth and worked great for about 3 months. Then I started getting chunks of fiber form on surface. Still attached so not easy to vacuum up. Recently the edges started degrading and pulling up when rolling chair over. I'm having to replace after 5 months.
