5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent monitor for the price

Just so you know what I personally need in a monitor: I am not a hardcore gamer. I mostly use my PC for work (office work so lots of Word and PDF docs), web browsing, and some basic streaming (Netflix, Max, Disney+, etc). Between my 15-inch laptop screen and hours of reading and editing text documents, I have a fair amount of eye strain. For a while I have wanted to upgrade my home office experience by adding a large second monitor. I did some research, and a fair amount of people recommended using a curved monitor for the type of work I do. So, over Thanksgiving, when I saw this monitor on sale for less than $100, I decided to pull the trigger, based on not just the price (although certainly a factor) but also the overall the brand Philips and, most importantly, the fact that the monitor was overall very well reviewed here on Amazon. I have only been using the monitor for a couple of days, it has - in that short period of time - not only met but exceeded my expectations. Setup was very easy: it only took me a couple of minutes to unbox and assemble, and connecting it to my laptop (using the included HDMI cable) was plug and play-simple. Again, I’m not the person to ask about a detailed assessment of a display’s graphical abilities, given the aforementioned ways I use one, but the display certainly meets my needs: it’s bright, the curved display is aesthetically pleasing, and the assortment of videos I’ve watched on YouTube and on streaming have looked quite good when played in HD formats. The monitor itself definitely provides a little bit of flair to my setup while still looking professional. The monitor is also a nice combination of sturdy yet lightweight, and the stand it comes with is both simple and uncomplicated while remaining easily adjustable. The only thing I would note (and which several other people mention) is that while the monitor apparently has internal speakers, they are not really independent and pretty much (I believe) act as pass through for the underlying computer’s audio setup. Again, this isn’t a criticism: just an observation in case anyone needs their monitor to also handle sound. In conclusion, I give this monitor high marks all around - especially if, like me, you are in tbe market for an upgrade of your laptop display and/or you want a second monitor that is curved, budget-friendly, and is not needed for high-end graphics.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Monitors for a great price!

These are connected to my new M3 Macbook Air- I didn't want to spend too much as I only sit at my desk with the MacBook occasionally. They look good and work great. I would say the only issue was the size of the bases as they are a little wide and take up desk space, however at this price point they are fine. I solved this by getting a dual monitor mount that clamps to the desk. I am happy with these and would buy again!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Monitor

I had a Samsung monitor previous to this. It developed a line across the bottom of the screen and sometime lost connection to the computer. This monitor has a far better picture, was easy to connect and cost less. Worth every penny.

4.0 out of 5 stars Decent product for the price

My only complaint is that it is not very adjustable. You can turn the screen from side to side, but you cannot adjust the height or tilt the screen forward or back. Or at least not so that this simpleton could figure it out. (I saw another review that listed "tiltable" as a pro (vs con) to this product. I wish I could write that reviewer and ask how.) I feel like the screen tilts forward a bit and I wish I could tilt it back. It is subtle, so it didn't show well in pictures, so I didn't bother adding one to this review. However, that being said, it is otherwise a decent product, easy enough to set up and plug in, and I found the image quality to be fine. And to be honest it is better quality than I expected for the price. I got it for $70 and a lot of the other monitors I was looking at online cost a lot more.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Monitor for my Security System
Reviewed in the United States on December 3, 2024
I bought this 22" monitor for $69.99 to use with my Annke Security Camera System. I started out with an 8' monitor which was ridiculously small and difficult to see. What was I thinking? I ordered this monitor and it is perfect. I just plugged it in and it worked beautifully. I can easily and clearly see the camera images and the lettering when I'm setting recording times. I couldn't be more pleased with it, and it was a great purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Quality for the Price, But Too Small for My Needs
Reviewed in the United States on December 31, 2024
I purchased the PHILIPS 22-inch Thin Full HD Monitor and was impressed by the resolution and price point—the picture quality was excellent, and you can’t beat the value from such a reliable brand. However, I ultimately had to return it because it was smaller than I expected.

While the specs were exactly as described, seeing it in person gave me a different perspective, and I realized it wasn’t the right fit for my setup. That said, this monitor would be perfect for someone looking for a compact, high-quality screen at a budget-friendly price.

Highly recommend it for those who need a smaller screen and appreciate great resolution at an affordable cost!

5.0 out of 5 stars Good value

I got this as a second monitor to use vertically next to my ultrawide, and it works great. I already had an extra monitor arm, which is essential because the stand is not great. However, for the $70 I paid, this is a perfect monitor for my use case as I did not want something too big.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful display, great for home office
Reviewed in the United States on October 28, 2024
I got this monitor for my home office on a whim as I had a relatively tight budget. For the pricepoint you get much more than what I expected. The colors were crystal clear, there was no lag, and I was able to seamlessly finish work projects in the comfort of my own home. The connectivity of this to my hp laptop was seamless and easy. I also appreciate how slim the monitor is so it doesn't take up much space. Easy to adjust with options for tilt angles.
Shipped securely and arrived in perfect condition.
    Highly reccommend this item.
