This is most certainly a quality tumbler. It's great for coffee, it looks swell and is user friendly for sure. The color is very attractive. Designed perfect for car cup holders. Sturdy and quality built for sure. Insulates very good! Like to see it priced just a little less.

The double-walled stainless steel construction keeps my coffee at the perfect temperature, whether it's a hot morning brew or a refreshing iced coffee in the afternoon. The spill-proof lid and included straw make sipping on the go hassle-free, which is a major plus during my commute and in-between classes.

The sleek design not only looks great but also fits snugly in my car's cup holder. The 20oz capacity is just right for my caffeine needs without being too bulky. Overall, the SANTECO Insulated Coffee Tumbler is a fantastic investment for anyone seeking a reliable and stylish travel mug.

4.0 out of 5 stars Keeps drinks cold longer than hot
Reviewed in the United States on December 10, 2023
I got this cup because it's a great size (and color). Some typical 16oz mugs can oftentimes be too small for my nespresso coffees. I got this mostly for cold drinks though. I did notice the ice kept its shape and the cup overall kept drinks cold for longer than it kept the hot drinks warm. Another thing is that the straw is great! If you're sipping out of the mouthpiece, be ready for a little splash to hit your face when you close the slide cover. Other than this, I found this cup to be relatively good quality, and I got compliments on the color!

3.0 out of 5 stars Good price, has some minor flaws
Reviewed in the United States on October 21, 2023
These were received free through Amazon's Vine programme; the review represents my honest opinion about the product.

I waffled between 3 and 4 stars on this, because it's honestly pretty usable. But it has enough minor flaws to be annoying, and if I'd bought this out of pocket I'd be unhappy about some of them.

For starters, there are definitely some good points. I was in a Lowes hardware earlier and saw a travel cup that looked functionally identical for a bit over $30, so $24 for this is a reasonable price, and you could easily pay more for a cup with all the same flaws. This cup also looks good. It's nicely finished, and the cup finish is pretty durable; I haven't had this very long, but I've spent several days dragging it through a series of industrial/mechanical workshops, and it's come through unscathed. The actual cup is quite easy to clean, inside and out.

Neutral points: The lid isn't particularly easy to clean, but it's at least as cleanable as anything else. On every travel cup I've ever seen, the lid is annoying to clean.
The straw is a straw. Plastic, but pretty thick and durable plastic. So if you want a straw, this comes with one.

Less good stuff -
The shape. Yes, it's easy to hold. Yes, it fits in most cupholders. So does a pencil, but good luck keeping it upright. This *mostly* works in my personal car's cupholder, but it just falls over in my work truck's cupholder. I have a 20-oz black travel cup that is shorter, squatter, more stable... and is still easy to hold, and actually stands upright in every cupholder I've ever tried it in.

The lid. Two different problems here, both shown in images. One, the lid sits at a much more shallow depth in the cup than my old travel cup. They both have the same gasket type, and they do both seal. But my old cup has the gasket about 1/4" lower down, so if the lid experiences lateral force - say, from being knocked on its side - there's some leverage forcing the gasket against the side, and it would have to move much further to actually knock the lid out.

The other problem with the lid is the what knocked this from 4 stars down to 3. If you take a sip of coffee and then close the little guard on the lid, it sprays you in the face. There's a wider than normal ledge there, which holds liquid when you take a sip. And then when you snap the guard closed, it drives that liquid up and out. Every time. I put a piece of paper about 3" above the mug and closed it like that, and you can see in the picture just how much sprays up. And it goes for distance; I got hit in the face a lot. If you drink coffee (or red wine - I won't judge) out of this and you're wearing a light-coloured top, you're going to ruin the top. And not from spills, jut from spray closing the lid. My other mug has a similar design and very, very occasionally will spray like that too. But it's a smaller cover, a much smaller ledge, and as a result a much rarer problem. I think this is just a fundamental design flaw, and if I had paid for this I'd be pretty annoyed by it.

Having not paid for it? Meh. It's serviceable, and I'll hang onto it as a backup mug. But I'm making it a goal to use this as rarely as possible while still getting my minimum daily dose of caffeine.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect morning caffeine addition
Reviewed in the United States on November 27, 2023
I like that this cup is easy to bring along to the office as it is not too big, yet it holds enough caffeine for me to get through most of my morning. It keeps the drinks warm for a few hours. It has two different parts to drink out of, one part that a straw can be inserted and another to sip out of. I have noticed that if you push the sip part closed quickly, it spills the little bit that is on the lid, be careful, I have made a mess several times this way, just ease it close or leave it open. It has held up with continuous washing and serving of hot beverages.

4.0 out of 5 stars Keeps my coffee from getting cold.
Reviewed in the United States on November 2, 2023
I mainly using this tumbler as a coffee commuter mug. So what I require is for it at least to keep my coffee from getting cold too quickly. In my experience, I have not come across any mug to date that keeps your coffee piping hot. So my expectations are usually to keep it from getting cold too quickly and this does the job.

It is a perfect size for my needs. I usually do 10 oz of coffee in the morning so this has plenty room for that and whatever creamer I will be using. The lid is easy on and off. I've experienced no leaks while drinking coffee. One thing I do notice is that the hole from where you drink is placed in a way that you do have to tilt the coffee mug back a little bit further than other cups I have. Not a huge issue but it was very noticeable to me at the onset. There is a hole for a straw which comes with the cup if you want to use it for cold beverages. I have not used it for cold beverages as that was not my reason for buying it. But it claims to keep cold beverages cold for quite some time. I have no reason to doubt that since a lot of these hot and cold insulated mugs normally do what they say and they tend to keep cold beverages colder moreso than keeping hot beverages hot.

Overall super pleased with this cup and I got it in a pretty pink color which makes me extra happy with this order.
