Safer Computer Program Download

Prefer to have a program downloaded to my computer from a trusted source in lieu of the instant download from the internet. I have paid the price before on two computers and you know that can be costly and very frustrating. This media player performs just great for all current media files with no problems!

Please don't pay for this stuff, it is worse than stealing software to cheat people when the open source community puts so much free time into great software that is distributed at zero cost to the public.
I use both VLC and Handbrake, they are great programs and very well trusted.

A good video player accomodating many different video file formats.

This software lives up to its good reviews. Unfortunately after I have installed it on my Windows 7 64 bit system it showed somewhere a message of incompatibility with a 64 bit system. But nevertheless it played all the files I have presented it. I chose to buy the DVD on Amazon for a few $ to be able to install it from its single file. This avoided the aggravation of getting a bunch of unwanted junk utilities installed by many of those "FREE DOWNLOAD" services. In the list of folder contents I could not get it to display a icon of some image of the video file. It just displayed its white/orange traffic cone. But otherwise it does what it is claimed to do, play many different video file formats.
