Just installed. Works well so far. Only issue i had was that the angle of the fuel input slants steeply towards the back of the carburetor versus upwards as the OEM. This made placing the metal plate for the choke switch dig into the fuel line. I didn’t want to mess with the carburetor’s fuel input by turning the joint counterclockwise to face upward (in fear that i would be unscrewing the joint) so I gently (and very slightly) bent the metal plate away from the fuel line. Everything seems to work fine, but wasn’t thrilled about having to make this minor modification. Notably, definitely consider buying an extra washer because the kit only comes with 3, but there is a “fourth” washer in between the carburetor housing and metal plate for the choke switch. I just reused the existing washer, but would have liked to replace it as well just to make sure that there would be no leaking issue.

This carburetor was a direct fit for my Troy-Bilt storm 2410 208cc. The carburetor was actually the same exact brand from the factory and it fit up perfect and it works great.

I was going to rebuild the carburetor on my MTD snowblower, found this instead of rebuild kit. Perfect fit, all the gaskets and fuel line needed to have my snowblower running like new in for a great price.

Being a small engine mechanic I find it difficult to find original parts at a cheaper price to save myself and the customer money. Took a chance on this because I refuse to by after market B.S. that never lasts or works right. THIS CARB is 98% identical to the O.E.M and Works/Runs like new. Everywhere else wanted $90+ for the same thing. Very impressed. (Keep in mind when buying this is for the side choke not the top choke. Almost bought the other wrong one yesterday.) Overall very happy 5/5 stars will update if anything goes wrong. Ran perfectly on a Craftsman 24” two stage snowblower (MTD)

I own a small engine repair business. I purchased this carburetor for a Troy-bilt storm 2660. This is an oem carburetor for a quarter of the original cost. Worked great without having to do any adjustments. I highly recommend this carburetor and the seller of this product. Two thumbs up from me.

As other reviews have suggested, i do believe this carb to be the real thing, not a knockoff.
The carb bowl is accessible on my machine (but not the rest of the carb), i cleaned the jets, it still surged. I'm guessing if i removed the carb i could have cleaned the rest, but at $20, why risk it.
Went in and worked first pull.

Now installing it in a troy bilt 2690 track drive snowblower, well that's another story.
If you are used to slapping new carbs on all your equipment in 10 minutes and moving on, well that's not happening. The honeymoon is over.
I had to reuse two gaskets, the new ones aren't really the same. So you may want to locate the real ones. Though the originals appear to have a coating that protects them.
First, the knobs pry off, do so gently, if you don't start there, might as well not do it at all.
You only truly need a 10mm wrench, 10mm socket and a phillips head.
There are about 10 nuts and bolts to remove.
The front plastic is also where the air enters, it is also held on by two screws in the electrical recessed male that you plug in.
I did not remove the exhaust shroud just pulled it up.
I used vice grips to clamp the fuel line.
Remove the oil cap and you can move the tank around, i had a 10 years of nests under there, so now is the time to clean it.
Remove, reinstall and pray it works, because you really can't test this carb on this particular machine without putting it 100% back together.
I'd like to reiterate, handle the knobs FIRST, i jerked around and wasted at least 15 minutes before i did some searches to find out they pry off, some have screws, but not these two.
The speed (turtle and rabbit) is not going to come off easy.
