Great practice

I let my students use this after they finish their morning work. Students enjoy it and it allows them to review some math concepts in a fun, but competitive game. It's not quite the game I remember playing on floppy discs, but it gets the job done for the cheap price. I would recommend that you have a system in place for students documenting their own scores (if that is important to you/them) as the game seems to struggle with any score over 40,000 not appearing in the Hall of Fame.

I couldnt get it to work with my computer

I remember kids using this when I did my student teaching and loving it. I thought it would be great for my daughter, but apparently the software is just too old to work with my computer. Too Bad:(

Doesn't like Windows XP or 7

I bought this for my son who loved playing it in school. Wouldn't work at all on my Windows 7 computer and doesn't always work correctly on our old computer that uses Windows XP. I only recommend using it on old dinosaur computers.

Fun and Educational

Bought as a gift for my nephew who has difficulties with math. This helped me when I was a child, as I've always been bad at math. This game is very fun, yet teaches math. It also helps you get faster at mental math as if you take too long, you get eaten. It came before the estimated delivery time and my nephew enjoys it and passed math class.

The essence of number munchers with a twist. Still wholesome, fun and educational overall. There is the muncher home shopping network (that is about the most iffy thing). Pretty safe for a conservative christian household.

i will never order a product again from the seller . the version i ordered was not compatible with my computer which by the way was a brand new hp computer bought in dec 2010. i tried to contact the seller to make an exchange or help with my problem .he has yet to respond. i guess thats one of the problems with purchasing from amazon. the seller can hide behind the sale through amazon.who i also tried to contact unsucessfully. i have been ordering merchandise through amazon for quite a long time and this has never happened before. as for the future they have lost my business over a product that costs $25.00 which is a shame.the problem is i am just one person that they will not miss.A LESSON LEARNED. I GIVE THE SELLER AN F FOR FAILURE TO EVEN RESPOND TO MY COMPLAINT . THANKS AGAIN GALCTICA AND AMAZON, FOR NOTHING !!!!!!!!

Would not recommend this product. I played with it myself and really did not find the concept of the learning game helpful. I would be research other learning cds before I would purchase this product.
