This has to be the best of all the inexpensive metronomes I've purchased, both standalone products and downloadable apps. The range of beats and rhythms is sufficiently large and very usable for all my guitar practicing needs. My favorite feature is having a voice to call out the beats in a measure, and my least favorite feature is having to cycle through all the beat and rhythm options to get to the preferred selection. The device seems well made and durable, nothing too fancy, just a few buttons and a volume wheel. Like all physical metronomes of this sort, dialing in a setting is a bit fiddly, especially since all the buttons look alike without the benefit of reading glasses. Well worth the 20 bucks it cost to purchase.

Good and Convenient--but not perfect

I purchased this to replace the iPhone app that I had been using for a metronome. That app wouldn't automatically power down and was draining down the battery. This metronome has the same basic features that the app had, including the various rhythms (triplets, eighth-sixteenth note combinations, etc.). The controls are intuitive. I use it with the sound turned down, and the control of sound volume is not very good at lower levels. There is no sound at all when I start turning the volume control wheel at its lowest level. After about a quarter turn of the wheel I get the first sound, and then there is no change for about 1/8 of a turn after which the volume jumps to a higher level. I don't think that I would notice this so much at the highest volumes. I tried to deploy the stand, but it is so tight that my fingernails were bending when I tried to pop it out. Eventually I used the screwdriver blade on my Swiss Army knife. I just lean the metronome on the music stand, which works for me.

I had a KLIQ metronome in my guitar case. I always had trouble using it, very technical and the labeling on the metronome is tiny. I went to Amazon to find instructions on the metronome and came across this metronome. The video's revealed a simple to use metronome that was capable of doing what I needed. The metronome arrived quickly and I made use of it immediately. Didn't have to read the instructions, I just pushed all the buttons and turned all the dials to get educated. It's great!

As someone who isn't musically inclined and struggles with rhythm and beats, I purchased this device to help me better understand timing for my dance lessons. This metronome is incredibly easy to use. I can quickly adjust it to various beats and rhythms to match the style of dance I’m learning. Its compact size makes it convenient to carry around, and the built-in stand is very practical. I also appreciate the voice counting feature, which is a nice touch. Overall, I’m pleased with both the functionality and the price. Hopefully, with its help, I’ll finally catch on to the beat! Otherwise, I fear I'll always have two left feet!

What I like is how you can set this up with any kind of meter or rhythmical pattern. What you're practicing to common or complex time, this does it all. The tap feature is nice as well because you can just feel where you want the time and you're off and running. USB charge means no batteries so no added cost to use it. The voice simulation counting time is another nice feature in case you lose your place counting. Great price as well.
