It looks brand new even though it's been "renewed" (Toshiba doesn't make these anymore) and it works perfectly. I depend on this unit to record and watch my favorite TV shows that are on late at night and my old unit finally started malfunctioning after many years of use. Despite the cost, I'm extremely happy with this replacement unit.

As for right now the unit is working fine . I have brought many of these DVD players back in the past and have them stop working after a couple of months. But as far for right now no problems.

I'm old fashioned. Still not into streaming, so I record shows on DVD. Quality of picture is fair, and I record at fastest possible. But since they don't make them Amy more. I take what I get

This replaces my old one after years of constant use and wear! My old one just wore out. Now, with this "new" one, I am able to pick up where I left off!

rock solid and no V-CHIP. get them while you can! remember the magnavox zv427? even if you could find one their all chipped now. YOU WERE WARNED!!!
