    I purchased this because I saw them everywhere when I was out in the Denver area. They really cooled things down out there. However, here in Maryland with the humidity, they aren't as effective. I turned this on before a party on my deck to cool things down and when I came back 1/2 hour later, all my deck furniture was soaking wet. This was with only 1 mister going. I probably could have watered the lawn if all 3 were on. This definitely isn't as effective unless the climate is dry.

    I went ahead and tried the fan only to find out water leaked around the head loosing about a 1/2 gallon in 10 minutes in a drip pan.
    Cheaply made and flimsily, water leaks, manual states call customer service for questions, parts, warranty.
    I called and asked if they have replacement mister heads if I'll ever need one and what is the max CFM.
    Customer service stated there is no CFM standard required so we don't have to offer that info.
    The Holmes Customer service also stated they don't have any parts except for maybe a screw.
    Customer service people barley spoke and understood english and I did select english from the menu I asked for tech support they told me that was them. "LOL"
    Needless to say after 10 minutes of running the fan and attempting to talk to customer service with no luck I'm returning this fan for a refund.

    I had already bought 2 quality misting fans fro H-depot but wanted to go with something where I could select 1-3 mist heads, which thats what this Holmes fan offered but it was junk.
    Back to using my quality built 3 mister fans I had already bought @ only $20 more each and this company's customer service is in the USA and speaks english.

    Was easy and quick to put together. Very quiet with several fan speeds. It’s great that you have the option to turn on one, two, three or none of the spray nozzles which works great on a wide mist spray. Nice and sturdy fan with long water line with built in shut off valve and a nice built in GFI plug in. Keeps you cool while laying out in the hot sun.

    I live in the south and having a fan outdoors is a MUST and the extra misting option makes sitting outside in the summer tolerable. The misting option feels great, but it drips, no matter the speed its on. Still, I have recommended this fan to LOTS of people.

    Easy to set up and works perfectly! Makes the patio much more enjoyable. Low white noise. Wish it had a remote, but that doesn't diminish the value. Love the 3 speeds and 3 mister options for more or less water. The dogs love it, too! Great value.

    The fan works great! I was worried about it only being 16 inches but it kept some of us cool. I will need to purchase another one for the people that sit on the opposite side of the table as the mister didn’t reach them.

    The media could not be loaded.
    I should have used this fan sooner, now my return window with Amazon has expired. Contacted the manufacturer to see what they can do to help. It was delivered late July but didn’t use it until late September. The water tube going into housing for the 3 misters will not stay in so water pours out bottom of fan instead of going to mister tubes. Did all of the steps of troubleshooting and it still doesn’t work. Hoping manufacturer will honor warranty.

    Climate change has greatly affected my outdoor living in Arizona. Moving to a higher elevation location 20-years ago was intended to avoid the high heat of the greater Phoenix desert. Now, the summer temperatures have risen from highs in the 95 degrees to frequent over 100 degrees. This fan has made it possible to sit in the shade with its cool mist and make our outside patio tolerable in the summer.
