Nice, Sturdy, Bright fully adjustable light.

This is a very nice light. I am legally blind, so it's hard to see most keyboards, UNTIL I found a keyboard with white keys and LARGE Black letters and THIS little light. It has a very nice metal clamp that I clamp to my monitor. The lights brightness is fully adjustable and you can position it anywhere you desire so it lights the keyboard and it's also out of your way. It also has a USB plug with a nice long cord.

Let me tell you about this little gadget that has become the superstar of our household - the JHD Desk Lamp, or as I like to call it, the "Lamp of All Lamps!" This thing is like a personal assistant that takes care of all your reading light needs.

First of all, the pros. Price? Check! This lamp is like a steal from a magician's hat. Easy to set up? Oh, you betcha! It practically sets itself up while you sit back and enjoy your favorite snack. And let's talk about the light it emits. It's brighter than my future, I tell you! This bad boy will light up your reading material like it's auditioning for a Broadway show.

Now, onto the cons. While this lamp is dimmable, I sometimes feel like it's stuck in a perpetual "not dim enough" limbo. I mean, come on, I don't want to feel like I'm being interrogated by a spotlight while reading my cozy mystery novel. And guess what? It didn't even come with an AC adapter. Nope, just a good ol' USB. I guess my lamp is a tech-savvy minimalist, but I miss the convenience of plugging it straight into the wall.

But let me tell you, my kids are absolutely smitten with this lamp. I had to buy not one, but two of them because they couldn't bear the thought of sharing. Now they can read their favorite bedtime stories without having to use my cell phone as a makeshift flashlight or deal with the annoyance of holding an actual flashlight. Works ok arm not so good but light is great

I bought this clip on light for my night diaper changing table, and I like it for the most part. It is easy to use and adjust, and it has three brightness levels and two color modes. It is powered by a USB cable, and it has a long battery life. The light is bright and soft, and it does not disturb my baby or my partner when I change the diapers at night. The clip is strong and stable, and it can attach to any surface. However, the one thing that I don’t like about this product is that the arm is not very sturdy. It is made of a flexible metal, and it tends to sag and bend over time. Sometimes, the light falls off or points in the wrong direction, and I have to fix it constantly. I wish the arm was more rigid and durable, and that it could hold the light in place better. Overall, I think this product is good for the price, and it serves its purpose well. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a clip on light for reading or other tasks, but I would also warn them about the arm issue. I give this product three stars out of five, and I hope the manufacturer can improve the quality of the arm.

Worked Great... Until it Didn't UPDATED

This little light filled my needs for it. The clamp was strong, not allowing the light to move out of position. The levels of intensity and color temp offered was perfect, but then exactly one month from first use, the little switch became erratic, and then failed completely.
It was a nice light but would be prohibitably expensive for only a months use. UPDATE:
Shortly after my initial review was published, the vendor reached out to me and offered a replacement. The switch on this light has been working perfectly every day - very pleased - 5 stars!

Not a long life

I bought this lamp, to use on my nail table. It was bright, the functionality for changing the modes was easy to follow. The fact that it was USB was super nice. My problem that I’ve had with it is that the control panel the cord pulls out and you lost functionality to be able to turn it on and off. So not a long lifetime on this product.

I’m very fond of this style of fixture as having a single light source. It doesn’t create multiple shadows while giving a nice spotlight. I use them for things like video and photography but sadly, this version of it has a controller in line that resets if it loses power, that may not matter to many people, but for me when I set up several of these to create a lighting situation, it means they have to stay on, or they will reset. There is an unfortunate trend by the manufacturer, to put this type of controller that forgets its settings in line on their LED products. Hopefully the manufacturer will realize that whether it’s a switched outlet or lighting design. It’s a good idea to have the device. Remember its condition/setting.
