I purchased this unit to automatically fill a garden fountain. The reason I purchased this make and model was due to the ability to "run" the water for as little as 1 minute. It doesn't take much to fill my fountain so a 1 or 2 minute run once or twice a day is perfect. So far the unit has performed flawlessly. Price was right too!

No leaks on fittings.
I used manual modes as well as auto modes and I like the 24-hour clock capability.
We have clean water so we had no filter clogging and placed ours in shade side of the house. But 115-degree heat did not affect its operation. Not sure how direct sunlight may or may not affect the unit.
Timer has received a few drops of water from rain, but generally just wrap it with plastic bag and small bungee clip to ensure the unit does not receive a soaking during significant rain fall.
Worked flawlessly for a year now except a few months shut down for winter.
Gave the timer a five rating since it has performed its role in our drip system irrigation and felt it has been reliable and not a complicated unit to program. Provided water 5 small raised bed plots and 8 plants.
