    Lots of features and they don't really talk about some of them . I am in IT so I found them. It has 2 separate email gateways so you can be on any computer in the world and send your printer a print job via email. Of course it has smart phone apps for printing and they work great as well. You can also easily use the ADF to scan multiple documents that will convert them to pdf format and then send them out via email. Another positive is that Brother print drivers typically work much better and do not give trouble like some of the other brands. Once I install them they normally keep working. I have them installed on 2 macs, several windows machines and a Linux machine. Color quality is good but not quite as good as the 10K Xerox machines at work. But they are fine for our needs. Recommend

    I thought it was the holy grail -- to find a printer that doesn't suck. I found it here! Not only does it NOT suck, I actually hug it every time it prints.

    1. Easy as hell to set up, you don't even have to use the mobile app (but I did set that up also and it was a few extra steps but also easy). Airprint works instantly.

    2. So fast, so quiet. I had a Canon MX something that would take about a few minutes to think about printing, and then another minute to print, and the page would usually jam in the middle of the job. The Brother has NO such issues. The Canon could take two days to print a 60 page document (because I had to keep taking breaks from unjamming it and resetting the job so as not to throw it through the window). Those days are gone forever!

    3. Color is not going to be like a photo printer -- it does not take photo printer, please note -- but color is fast and bright and perfectly acceptable for a document (vs. a photo).

    4. My setup is a home office, my printing needs are relatively light, so I agonized over the cost vs. use but when a printer JUST WORKS these days, it's so miraculous that I decided the cost was worth it and used the Affirm payment plan to make the finances work.

    5. I did not have to sign up for the ink program, my uses are so light it would be an unjustifiable expense.

    I spent about a month researching and comparing and reading all of you good people's reviews -- some of which are super funny -- of this printer and others, and finally the day came where I couldn't stand even the thought of trying to print on the Canon so I pulled the trigger. I know I'm not alone in the "I hate my printer" category but I might now be one of a dozen people in the "I love my printer" category.

    It arrived in a speedy timeframe and it was packaged so well that if it had been a baby, it would have slept without waking from a single bump.

    Brother is my brand and this printer is 5 stars!

    Bought after reading a lot of tech reviews (range of websites. Easy set up and pairing with >1 computer. Copy, print & scan are great! Core is great as is black & white. Double sided option is a game changer. Have not run out of ink yet. Reviews say it will print in black only if a color is out. Fingers crossed!

    I gave it 5 stars because it was easy to setup wireless and it worked great with my iPhone. Printing so far is good it’s to early to review more but I switched from Hp to Brother.

    I originally had an HP Office Jet Pro 8025, bought in 2020. It failed within the first year....it took quite a while to troubleshoot, send data and get them to stand behind it, but they finally did. I am not sure if the 2nd one was a refurb or brand new, but it came in 2021. I was on the HP ink program so I always had ink, it never ran dry, but I had print quality issues within the first two years. Eventually the black would not print and then the Cyan would not print. I ran all the head cleaning programs to no avail. There is no HP part number to get a new print head, they are all aftermarket, so I got a cleaning kit. I just could not get cleaning solution through the Cyan tube. I also found GOBS of ink all over the interior of the printer chassis. When I finally got it all put back together, the printer head would not move, I tried multiple times to adjust it, but it just did not want to go back together. I grabbed the scanner bed, lid and ripped it from the printer carcass. All the loose pieces I also ripped apart and I deposited the whole thing in the trash. It is just not easily serviceable.

    Four minutes later, I looked at top selling all-in-one laser printers. HP was one? no thank you. This Brother was the next one up.

    So far so good. Getting quick, clean copies has been great on my stress levels. It is a tad noisier than the ink jet, but for a shorter amount of time. Listening to the ink jet cycle up, move back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, before the paper is ever sucked in....is like driving behind someone doing 15 below the speed limit in a no passing zone. The laser noise is really just the fans warming up, but it goes pretty quick and it spits out results much faster.

    My only complaint is that it is NOT plug and play on the wired network. I wired mine in, but you need to install a program on your computer to install the printer. It took a bit to finally find the printer, but once I did the, setting up other computers was much, much simpler.

    I also like that the pages deposit to a gap in the printer and not on a tray that slides out. The Office Jet had a slide out arm and if you forget to extend that arm, the pages deposit themselves all over your office floor. The Laser has a nice little pouch in the middle.

    I'm sure I have added years to my life with this.
