5.0 out of 5 stars My 5 STAR ‘Point And Shoot’ Camera Case
Reviewed in the United States on May 7, 2017
Since I am the first person to review this case, I’m trying to give you the best impression of it that I can. Overall, this is a wonderful little case that is perfect for a Nikon Coolpix L340 camera and a good number of accessories. This ‘water resistant’ case centers on the point of being very lightweight with a well padded interior with adjustable compartments, including quality zippers, materials and construction as well as being ‘waterproof’ with a separate slip-on shroud that comes with the case. You can’t submerge the case but it will protect it perfectly in a rain storm. Instead of adding all kinds of ‘gimmicky’ little zippered compartments that are often too small to put anything in effectively, plus adding bulk and weight to the bag, the Fosoto case offers simplicity of design, ease of use, and quality materials and workmanship for a very low price. Some might call this a ‘no-frills case,’ but I would call it the perfect case for an upper-end ‘point and shoot’ camera.

As to the dimensions of the case, please look at the photo below to see how I calculated them. Most people get this all wrong in their listings or their reviews and I’m showing the standard method of measuring that is in use by Architectural draftsmen world wide.
The Height of the exterior of the case is 5 ¾ Inches. The Width of the exterior of the case not including the fittings for the strap connectors is 8 Inches. The Depth of the exterior of the case not including the handle on the top of the lid is 4 ¾ Inches. The Height of the interior of the bag is 4 ½ Inches. The Width of the interior of the bag is 7 Inches. The Depth of the interior not including the lid of the bag is 4 Inches. I am taking these measurements with the case empty, and since it is a ‘soft case’ it will expand a bit to accommodate more bulkier items. These measurements are as close as I can get but if you can do better please leave a comment below
.
There is more than ample room to store the most important accessories that you need to carry with you wherever you go. On the inside of the lid there is a zippered net compartment that I use for the lens cleaner because of it’s accessibility. There are two padded dividers with ’velcro’ tabs that allow you to move them wherever you want them inside the case. In the photo below, I show the accessories that I like to carry with me and I still have room to spare.
On the left of the photo is a CamKix Premium Aluminum card case that holds just about any size cards that you want to carry with you. (Amazon, $7.29) 5 STAR Recommendation.
In the center I show two the Mini Butterball AA/AAA cases that come in a set of four. I carry one case with freshly charged batteries and one for the empty ones that need to be recharged when I return home. (Amazon, $5.70). 5 STAR Recommendation.
On the right of the photo I show the MegaGear ‘ultra-light’ neoprene camera case that I bought thinking it would be the perfect case to use when I wanted to leave the Fosoto case with the accessories in the car. Even though this case is a good quality case, the design makes it too awkward and time consuming for me to use effectively because you have to struggle with both hands to get the camera in and out of the case. In my opinion it defeats the point of having a ‘point and shoot‘ camera that you want to use to snap pictures and go. (Amazon, $1499) 2 STARS. (See my review).
In the photo I show the Eamber Genuine Leather camera strap that I use and as bulky as it is compared to the one that came with the camera, it still fits inside the Fosoto case perfectly. (Amazon, $18.99) 5 STAR Recommendation.

There are two small straps on the outside of the case that will expand slightly to accommodate storing a small tripod. The one I show is a FotoPro Smartphone 39.5 inch tripod. I consider this to be the ultimate light-weight tripod to use with a smaller device. It is perfectly stable when it is fully extended, but I wouldn’t use it in a gale force wind without holding on to it. I can‘t say enough good about this tripod and I believe that you will feel the same way too if you buy one. (Amazon, $16.99) 5 STAR Recommendation.

I hope that I have covered most or all of the questions that people would want to know about in this review and if I haven’t, please feel free to contact me and I’ll do my best to answer yours. I hope this review helps you to decide if this is the case for you and if not I hope you find one that will suit your needs better. Thanks for reading my review. Have fun and ‘snap away’ every day!

5.0 out of 5 stars A great compact bag for a compact camera.
Reviewed in the United States on August 7, 2024
My medium-size camera came with a fine Lowepro bag, but I needed something more compact when I travel. It will fit nicely in my backpack when I fly.
This bag and camera go together like hand and glove. There's extra room for the included rain cover (I"ll never use it), lens cloth, cookies, etc. An inside zip pocket is perfect for extra memory cards, and the outside elastic pocket is where my spare battery will sit ready.
Measure twice, order once, be happy! The bag is well-made and had no defects whatsoever.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ultimate Protection for Precious Memories
Reviewed in the United States on August 16, 2023
The FOSOTO Waterproof Anti-shock Camera Case Bag has proven to be an indispensable companion for my Canon Powershot camera, offering a secure haven that combines waterproof resilience with anti-shock protection. As a passionate photographer who cherishes my camera and its captured memories, this case has exceeded my expectations by safeguarding my equipment in all conditions. Here's why I'm genuinely impressed by the FOSOTO Waterproof Anti-shock Camera Case Bag:

Pros:
1. Impenetrable Protection: The case's waterproof design offers unmatched defense against rain, splashes, and moisture, ensuring that my camera remains dry and operational.
2. Anti-Shock Construction: The case's anti-shock padding absorbs impact and prevents damage from accidental drops or bumps, preserving the integrity of my camera.
3. Customized Fit: The interior of the case is designed to snugly fit the Canon Powershot SX540, SX530, and SX620 cameras, ensuring a secure fit that minimizes movement.
4. Multiple Storage Pockets: The case features well-designed pockets for accessories like batteries, memory cards, and cables, enhancing organization and convenience.
5. Comfortable Carrying: The adjustable shoulder strap provides a comfortable carrying option, allowing me to explore and capture moments without any strain.
6. Clear and Visible: The transparent top panel of the case allows me to see the camera's settings and controls without needing to remove it from the case.

Cons:
1. Limited Color Variety: While the available color is versatile, a broader color range would cater to a wider spectrum of preferences.
2. Restricted Compatibility: Users with cameras other than Canon Powershot SX540, SX530, and SX620 should verify compatibility before purchasing.

Waterproof Anti-shock Camera Case Bag is a true guardian for my Canon Powershot camera, offering unparalleled protection against water, shocks, and damage. Its customized fit, multiple storage pockets, and comfortable carrying options make it an essential accessory for photographers who value both functionality and peace of mind. While considerations about color variety and compatibility exist, the overall benefits and security offered by the FOSOTO Camera Case Bag outweigh any minor limitations. If you're seeking a case that ensures the safety and functionality of your camera, even in challenging environments, this case is an outstanding investment that guarantees the preservation of your precious memories and photographic equipment.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice bag but..
Reviewed in the United States on June 7, 2024
This was a really nice camera bag unfortunately my camera wouldn't fit. I have the Nikon D5100. It's kind of small so it won't hold your Nikons or Canons especially if you have the 18-55mm lense attached.

Honestly love this bag. Super puffy inside to protect your camera/ whatever you store in here. The strap is nice quality and is thick enough to where it doesnt hurt your shoulder.
