5.0 out of 5 stars Really good flavor!!!

Our pears were a little on the dry side this season so the flavor of our home made wine was a tad on the weak side. We ordered this and added it to our batch and holy cow, it's got that home made pear wine taste that we love. Really good product!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Give it time.

So, I wrote a horrible review for this product, because of an initial chemical taste and smell and a lack of overall flavor. I personally was using this for candy making, because a few other people mentioned they did the same. On day one, the gummies just weren't great. They had that horrible chemical taste and hardly tasted like mango. Well, after letting them sit over night, I had to come back and rewrite my review. The flavor is really nice, and the chemical taste is gone. So for anyone using this to make candy, let it sit. The flavor will definitely improve. I'm taking back my negative review, and apologize to the sellers for my quick reaction. But also, this is non returnable so ????

4.0 out of 5 stars Strongly peachy, but requires aging after adding
Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2019
I used 2 oz of this 4oz bottle on a 5 gallon batch of peach saison. The resulting flavor was intensly peachy, but also very artificial. It tastes like artificial sweeteners. Considering the product says it is made for 5 gallon batches, and warnes that flavors like peach may need a higher rate of flavoring, I am disappointed that 2oz produced an artificial flavor.

Edit:. After aging four two months I am left with a saison that still smells strong of peach but has a mild, subtle peach taste. The beer is enjoyable now, but the large difference between smell and tast along with the 2 month aging period required to make a palatable peach flavor keeps this product from being a 5 star. I recommend this proyfor those looking to enhance there peach flavors but understand it may enhance smell more than taste and that it may force you into a several month wait.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not the best mango flavor
Reviewed in the United States on February 29, 2024
Notes of mango but not great. Used it in a batch of vodka hard seltzer I kegged. I don't get a ton of mango even though it is exactly a 5 gallon batch. If I were to use it again, I'd recommend maybe 1.5-2x the recommended amount for 5 gallons. Perhaps for beer, it might be better as you only want a hint of mango.

1.0 out of 5 stars Graham extract is foul. Do not buy.

DO NOT BUY GRAHAM EXTRACT!!! Other flavors might be fine, but the graham is foul. Honestly, I had high hopes for it. I dosed single pints with as low as 0.25ml of the extract and it tastes like pure chemicals. At 1ml I almost threw up. Don't waste your money. Several people were gagging from the flavor. Good thing I didn't dose the entire 5 gallon batch. That would have been terrible. Dosing per glass would be about 2-4ml per glass and I was at a 0.25ml. Might as well drink pine sol if you want to taste chemicals.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tastes Like Watermelon!
Reviewed in the United States on July 7, 2024
I bought this to give a boost to some watermelon sorbet I was making (the melon I bought was rather mild in flavor). Thankfully it didn't end up having an "artificial" taste, but it does taste like watermelon. Win!

I used this in a 5 gallon porter beer batch. I used the whole bottle which was the perfect amount of peanutbutter flavor. Sometimes these extracts taste like a fake chemical taste but this is very good. Highly recommend it.
