One battery works great, while the other doesn't hold a charge. Still a good price for one battery.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works great in Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X controllers

I came across these rechargeable batteries for xbox controllers and was interested in seeing if they would work for my needs. Considering a controller can burn through some normal AA batteries rather quickly, I decided to give these a try.

Pros:
They fit perfectly in either an Xbox One or Series X/S controller without issue
They're easy to use, charge fairly quick and last roughly 5-8 hours depending on use.
These are definitely a more affordable version of rechargeable batteries I have come across, which is a plus.
They're black and match my controllers (even though you don't really see them with the covers on, but it's nice to know they're the same color)
Can charge while playing if needed, simply plug in the appropriate cable based on controller (Xbox one - Micro USB / Series X/S - USB C) and will charge while playing in a gaming session, or when controller is off and idle.

Cons:
Not sure if there is a compatible charger to charge both batteries when not in use or in a controller.
No other way to charge the battery without having your own cord and controller (Must put battery in controller, then use micro USB / USB C depending on controller to charge - which is does not come with either cable)

Overall, these batteries work well for my intended use and as long as you have a spare controller on hand to keep one battery charged/charging, while using the other, you'll be ready to go for some long gaming sessions. So far, I used the battery out of the box in my Xbox Series X controller and it lasted roughly 4.5 hours without an initial charge cycle. It took just under 3 hours to recharge in my controller and the longest battery life I got out of it was slightly over 8hrs of straight gaming with a few intermittent breaks in between where the controller turned off for a few minutes at a time. Considering the price and getting 2 batteries for the cost, the amount of time they last in one gaming session (usually 2-4 hours normally for me) I can get away with using these a few times before needing to charge them both and they do what they are intended.

Good solid option to replace disposable batteries those who interested in not spending all that money, and for those who care about the actual process of battery disposal. Obviously a win/win in most situations for all. Definitely recommend and look forward to seeing how long these will last over their lifetime.
