5.0 out of 5 stars Forever Epson

This is a Epson XP15000 oversize printer. It uses 6 ink cartridges and It can print 11 x 17” photographs and the quality of the prints are terrific. The Wi-Fi feature does work well. If you use Epson paper to print your photos with you can be assured of the longevity of your digital print as well as being a bit water resistant. If you use Epson ink with Epson paper, you will get a nice clean, bright print. If you choose to use other artistic paper or any off brand paper, you may not get the same results so you’ll have to work at it other than that I have always used Epson printers and I do believe that they are one of the more superior printers on the market for printing digital photographs and for the amount of money paid for an oversized printer it’s kind of hard to beat. Now if it had ink wells, instead of cartridges so you could refill it instead of replacing ink cartridges it would be perfect.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great printer for printing your snapshots and portfolios!
Reviewed in the United States on May 26, 2023
I initially bought this printer after being frustrated with the quality of prints at Walgreens and the cost of getting a couple of 4x6 prints shipped to me from Adorama. I really was just looking to print some 4x6 photos to send to a friend in South Korea as a thank you, but this printer has so much more to offer. My 4x6s were printed from iphone photos and they looked good and I sent them off.
Afterwards I decided to see what my photos would look like printed out at 11x14 and they look great, and the I realized this printer can print up to 13x19. I was truly amazed by the quality, prints came out with bright and accurate colors, and stunning sharpens. On my days off now I spend time printing off some of my favorite photos and creating 13x19 portfolios with them.
I've only used Epson ink with this printer and the results are great, I have steered toward A-Sub photo paper which has been ok for the most part, but it does have trouble reproducing accurate skin tones. For the highest color accuracy, you will want to stick with Epson photo paper.
When I initially received the printer, it unfortunately died after printing off a few photos. After a quick troubleshooting process with Epson they decided to ship me a replacement. While it was a hassle dragging this thing around to get it shipped a replacement was sent out promptly and I've been very satisfied ever since.

1.0 out of 5 stars Defective Product
Reviewed in the United States on June 30, 2024
I received my printer from this business March 27. In late May the printer no longer turned on. I used the printer for simple fine art printing approximately 3X/week and no more than 10-15 prints - a normal workload for this printer. Since I purchased it through a third party seller, Epson would not replace it. I contacted DealX in early June. They told me that they can’t replace the printer because it was beyond the 30 day return window. The fact the printer no longer turns on and is defective after two months vs. one month is not something I can control. I offered to send the printer back and inquired again for a refund or replacement. They said they would discuss it with management and let me know a decision by June 11th. On June 25th I had not heard from them and contacted them again. They offered me $65 ink cost as a sign of goodwill but still will not replace the printer. I asked again for a replacement and they only will offer $65. I was sold a lemon and am now out of an art printer and $300 + for its cost. I will not be buying from this seller again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for art prints

This printer is really great for artists who like to print their own art out. I was able to print on 140lb watercolor paper no problem! It prints with no border so you get a clean 13x19 print without having to trim. Easy set up! Happy purchase!

4.0 out of 5 stars Takes really thick cardstock but often thinks it's out of paper when it isn't
Reviewed in the United States on October 4, 2023
I got this printer a couple of months ago. I was specifically looking for a printer that would print on very thick cardstock. This printer does take my very thick 140 lb cardstock in the back feed, but after using it for about a month it started telling me there was no paper in the feed even though there is. Then it started to tell me there is a paper jam when there wasn't. The screen does have some tips to try if that keeps happening. One of the tips is to clean the roller, but they don't explain how to do that. I ended up having to find a you tube video from someone who explained how to do that. The fix they suggested did help, but I have a feeling I'm going to have to use that fix a lot.

The other thing I wasn't expecting is how much ink I was going to have to buy. I also have an HP without the rear feed. I was thinking that I would be changing the ink cartridges with about the same amount of frequency, but in two months I have already changed all 6 colors at least twice some of them three times already at $21 a pop.

If I had it to do over again I would probably be willing to spend more for a printer that has less problems with the feed and didn't need constant ink changing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing quality print for artists!
Reviewed in the United States on August 13, 2022
The two on the left were printed with the Epson while the one on the right was printed by staples “photo quality”. I love the ability to set up the print file myself and that it prints at full-bleed flawlessly on a basic 8.5x11 photo paper!
I printed 2 to test the satin vs presentation matte paper and the colors have little difference! You can see the Staples print does not match the color and appears darker than on screen. I didn’t do any color correcting prior to printing and it only took 2 minutes to print a photo. It’s pretty spectacular for the price!
I’ll update in about 6 months to see where we’re at with quality.

Still going strong one year later using this as my primary source of creating prints. I have found the best paper to use is by Moab or Canson instead of buying staples/Office Depot brand papers. After lots of printing I recommend cleaning the print heads for maintenance and aligning print heads after cleaning. The wire has gotten to a point where I have to unplug it then plug it back in to turn on, after a few tries of troubleshooting. Know that every printer no matter how expensive will need this maintenance. I used to work in a mass print shop where multi-thousand dollar printers needed the extra love and care. I don’t need to replace the wire just yet, but I’ll see after another year!
