We setup 4 cameras to monitor our elderly mom. Setup was easy and connect in 3 different methods, depending on your WiFi signal. Very good picture quality and microphone is good for hearing even low sounds. The speakers are small and not very loud as my mom couldn’t hardly hear us from far away.

Overall very good value and quality so far. I initially had intermittent disconnect issues, but that was resolved with a WiFi booster I added.

Installation was very simple, I hung mine in my window to catch a door egging brat. It’s clear, I can even talk to my son from it. Last year I bought a $30 camera that I couldn’t even hear from let alone talk on. The image is very clear and the area it covers is very nice sized. Definitely durable because I dropped it twice while installing because my hands were sweaty, nothing broke. Motion detection is so on point and catches everything, but you can set it to catch less birds and what not. Get it get it get it. We feel much safer????

I recently purchased a camera to keep an eye on my dogs, and I couldn't be more pleased with my decision. My sincere opinion, these have a really nice video/picture quality. The software that is downloadable works suitably to capture motion, or to view live views. I purchased during a sale and it was a great combination of price/performance. Picture quality is it's forte in day or night conditions.

The software isn't very usable in that to get the features that are truly helpful, you must pay fees for cloud storage and some blocked pay features. There are pricing tiers, and the minimal tier would suffice, but I'm not a person who will pay when there are options for the "techy" among us.

But back to the software, there aren't many motion detection options. A slider for sensitivity, but it does not offer much granularity. I do get motion detection notifications saying "person" identified, but every single one is a false positive. That's an example of being unable to make make software settings for detection.

But, there are other cloud providers and other freeware offerings that may work out for you. I'm currently exploring "Motion" and an FTP LAN storage option. It's possible; but not really an option unless you are familiar with the level of tech involved.

So given the quality of the images, and either laying for the cloud storage and unlocked options, this is a great choice. It's an even better choice if you can work it into different software and storage options. SD card storage is available to use, but their reliability record isn't stellar, and unfortunately, the market now contains too many fraudulent and misrepresented storage capacities.

Bottom line:
I recommend the cameras regardless if you pay for storage or not. But I'd recommend finding a better software solution to make these really shine.

I purchased one of the wifi cameras from Galayou for my shed. The camera works great, so I got these cameras to replace the Panasonic Homehawk cameras that dont work to well, battery dead, program unresponsive or wont connect. These set up easily using the bluetooth method option. There are 3 ways to connect, bluetooth worked for me. All 5 of my cameras now come up on the Galayou app screen quickly, not like the Panasonic app. I have 2 cameras that look out windows, one in garage, and one in living room. Cameras have an excellent night image, and also have a clear image pointing west into evening sun. The one in the garage works well in the dark. Only camera setup for motion detection, is the the shed camera, sends me a popup on the phone within a couple seconds of me walking in. Picture is through a window and screen, pointed into the sun, color and definition are pretty good for into the sunset. I am very happy with how small and how well the cameras work. What I really liked was the app. Easy to navigate and use. I dont use the cloud for storage, just the microSD cards, which I haven't tested yet.
