Was nervous that it would be different than the picture but it came just like I thought it would. You do have to string the buttons yourself which is a little bit of a process but they give you plenty of length to make it work. Would definitely recommend for any costume or ren fair party look.

I purchased this for a trip to the local Renaissance Fair in Virginia. It fits really well. I wear a large t-shirt so I ordered this in a large and it's the perfect size. I do have one issue though that I'd like to point out. The string they show in the picture looks like it's loose and relaxed. It fits the style of the shirt. But that's not what they sent. What I got looks more like green dress shoes, shoelace. It's not the same color as the shirt. I don't think it clashes but it's definitely not the one in the picture.

I get that sourcing changes and you can't always track down the same materials, but it would take 2 seconds for them to add a note on the listing. Or change the images of the shirt to reflect the new string. Even adding a picture of what the new string look like would have been helpful. not doing so. Feels like false advertising and it rubs me the wrong way.

It is very breathable and light. had slight trouble figuring out where to cut the strings as they come extra long but after tying it up and cutting with some excess room to spare it was very breathable and comfortable. others have talked about getting rust stains from the gromets. I personally did not have this issue but if you sweat profusely from your chest it may become an issue. if you dont want it to stain then just put some clear nail polish on the metal gromets. otherwise its free weathering!

I’m 6 foot tall and 235, and the XXL was a little loose but not bad, I’ll roll with it but XL is my usual shirt size and I would say to buy to your tshirt size. Surprisingly good quality! Buying to wear as pirate and it works great for the outfit.
