I had no issue downloading this application, and I use it every day. There were some glitches, but with Google, I came across the reason for it, and they went away- have your task bar on the bottom of the screen. If you do have your task bar, each time, on the bottom of your screen, then a different issue is involved for you. I enjoy the ease of use with this program, how I can look at the outline of my script, add notes, see how often I use a character, and look at the index cards and rearrange my scenes as needed. Thank you for a great product.

I would love for this software to work

I would love for this software to work, but when I copied and pasted the extraordinarily long registration number (you might get the impression that everybody on the planet must have this), all I got was an error message and NOTHING FOR THE $169 i paid amazon.com. I GOT NOTHING. I notice that many other people seem to have trouble finding the registration number. If you write these people, they ask for the registration number which doesn't fit the one-line box they provided. As I said, I would love this to work, but it doesn't appear ready for prime time. I might add that for a number of years I have spent more than $10,000 annually at amazon.com.

Had to repurchase a second copy of the Windows 10 version to replace the Windows 8 version with the broken Dictionary glitch. Then had to Uninstall the program in order then Install the newer Windows 10.

Learning Curve

Challenging software, needs learning curve. This is not something that you pick up and run. Once you learn the basics, it works fine.

Program Installation Activation Required Assistance

Movie Magic Screenwriting Version 6.0 is as advertised and purchase was easy to complete. However, activation of the program required contacting Write Brothers Support for manual activation. Activation through the internet was not successful, requiring e-mailing a "Challenge" (series of numbers) sent to Write Brothers Support and "Response" (series of numbers) provided by Write Brothers Support. Inputting the "Response" into the Program start-up then activated and the program operates as advertised. Product excellent, activation required finding who to contact and getting a response back. Write Brothers Support provided quick response.

I am unable to register and use product.

I am told the site for Write Brothers is insecure and therefore; it will not allow me to register and put in my serial #. I have sent them an email and they ask if I had which windows I had and for my serial #. I will follow up if and when this is resolved.
