    I'm a bit on the fence about Cody. I am NOT a huge fan of skirt chasers. Karma will find you...and she might not be nice. Brooke (Hailey' best friend) was in love with Cody when they were in high school. Hailey loved Cody too. Brooke thought Cody felt the same. Cody was only interested in "having fun" with Brooke (insert Karma). Cody liked Hailey. He knew he couldn't have her so he walked away. Then many years later... Cody finds Hailey again. There was no drama. There was no teenager love triangle. But it did put a riff between Hailey and Brooke. Then unfortunately Brooke was killed.

    Cody did grow on me. I just don't like players. I liked Hailey and Maddie (Hailey's daughter). Maddie was great. Just not as great as Evelyn- (Love Me Today). I about had a moment when Cody and Maddie were building her play house. So many feelings!!

    I really enjoyed this series. I'D HIGHLY RECOMMEND READING- Love Me Today, Don't Forget Me Tomorrow and Claim Me Forever first. You won't be disappointed. Even though this is 100% independent. You'll get so much from the characters as they have cameos in all.

    I ended up really liking this read. I was thoroughly satisfied.

    I have loved this series and am so sad to see it end. I love that the special edition paperbacks depict a moment in time for each couple that means something. I loved the found family and sense of community. I loved all the kids. It was a great series with a lot of suspense and plenty of twists.

    For the final book, Cody finally finds his match in Hailey. It was a little bit of a second chance, but they never really got their first chance when they were younger. Cody had been the town playboy, running from feelings, protecting those he cared about, and I loved getting to see why Cody ended up the way he did. He had a great character arc and a tragic backstory, but when the right woman entered his life, he was determined not to let his past affect his future.

    Hailey was a strong fmc, trying to find her way after being brave enough to leave a bad relationship and give her daughter a life she deserves. She really tried to keep Cody at a distance, but when her ex comes around Cody doesn’t give Hailey a chance to push him away. I loved his budding relationship with Maddie and Lolly. I loved that Lolly saw beneath his playboy exterior and understood that he was strong enough for Hailey and Maddie.

    There was a lot of suspense in this book. There were several twists and we didn’t really know what happened the night Cody left Hailey’s family farm six years ago until pretty late in the book. It was an intense buildup. I thought the ending was perfect. Cody and Hailey and Maddie got their HEA.

    When his father was on his deathbed, Cody Cooper promised him he'd always take care of his mother and his sisters. Never mind that he was only 6 years old at the time. As he got older, he always put himself last, doing whatever he had to do - no matter what - to help his mom when she needed it.

    Hailey Wagner met Cody the summer she was 18. But she knew he was off limits, because her best friend Brooke had already claimed him as hers. Never mind that he hadn't promised anything to Brooke. He had his eye on Hailey, but when he lost his job on Hailey's father's ranch, he had to let go of any ideas he had about her.

    6 years later, Hailey's come back to town. After losing her best friend, she ran to Texas to work on someone else's ranch, and ended up marrying the owner and having a daughter. But her husband wasn't a good man, and she was tired of hiding the truth, so she filed for divorce and ran back to Hendrickson, just a little ways away from Time River.

    She's hiding the truth about her ex because she's afraid it will hurt her father. Cody is hiding a few truths of his own. The one thing he can't hide is how his feelings for Hailey haven't gone away in the last 6 years.

    There's danger ahead and you're not going to want to miss this one. It's the best of the series - in my opinion.

    Although I've got to say, there could be a LITTLE bit of variability in what goes on in the bedrooms of all these heroes. Plenty of spice, but it's the same spice from book 1 to book 2 to book 3 to book 4.

    This book was so good that I couldn’t keep in Down finished book in two days. Cody and Hailey were good together great love story, please keep writing Ms Jackson I love the stories can’t wait until the next book.

    Possible Spoilers: This book was the last in the series for Time River and it was everything! What an incredible wrap to the series tho I will say, I was so sad that it was ending! I can only guess why Cody was saved for last, and this story and love match did not disappoint! I suddenly have a new appreciation for strawberry shortcake :) Hailey and Cody's story goes way back and in reading the rest of the series, you knew she had to be a stellar chick to tame him. Cody's wit and smirks along with his overall masculinity (don't forget the tattoos !!) made this story fun! What a flirt and Hailey honestly is probably like most girls up against that charm, luckily the story is written in an incredible way that has you rooting for them from page one because she in one hundred percent his match in every way. The twists in this story were well written and hidden until the opportune time that we all needed to know. I just can not say enough about this book and characters! Also, kudos for the bonus chapter!! What every Time River fan needed!!!

    I didn't really care for this book. Tins of adjectives for their love story... so cheesy. I had to skip a lot of sections with all the cheesiness. I really liked the characters and story line. This is A.L. Jackson's first book I haven't cared for. Ive read every book and this is my first time posting 3 stars.
