This stove is a great value for the price. I love the design, and would definitely buy it again. You have to hold the gas knob down slightly longer than expected to keep the flame on but that may be a safety feature. Not sure.
Customer service when i had questions was effficient and coutreous.

Should've figured for such a cheap price but this product is garbage. It was so much lighter than the one it replaced and not in a good way. The knobs are cheap and the manual it came with said nothing about hooking up so maybe it is hooked up wrong. The biggest issue is that the burners don't stay lit. They ignite but once you take your hand off the knob the flame goes away. It is a nice looking stove top but too bad it doesn't work.

PRO - Price, Very easy to install, very helpful customer service, Looks great and so far its doing a good job, burners and thermocouple are working as advertised. Our second unit is in a excellent condition and quality so far looks good

CON - Our fist unit was defective, local appliance installers did no the brand so they gave me a hard time while installing the stove. My General contractor was not familiar with brand so walked away form installing and taking the liability

I was having installation problems and fire not light on at beginning. Luckily their office nearby. Thanks Jerry demonstrated installation whole process to me.
Used this cooktop for over a month. No problem so far and easy clean. Loved it.

The value for this cooktop is amazing. I still cannot believe it works as well as it does considering the cost. The knobs are a bit tricky to use and do take some getting used to. My husband says “the build quality and finish on the knobs is not as good as the rest of the cooktop but it is still an excellent, excellent value.” The heat that comes off that middle burner is intense - boils water so fast. Definitely burnt something the first time I used it because I didn’t realize how hot it was getting (total user error). If you’re even thinking of getting this, just do it. It’s sooooo worth it!

The burners are very close together. Be sure you won’t want to cook using two pots/pans at once, or that you are ok with only using the smallest of each. Also, the design of this means that the cast iron grate stands about 3 inches up from the surface of the counter. This leads to a big discrepancy between counter height and where you’ll actually be holding your arms to use the stove. Not a deal breaker, but something to note, especially if you are planning on installing this in an rv or similar low ceiling area. Make sure you have the appropriate head room over the stove for safety!

Additionally, the design has you reaching over the front burner to stir whatever you might have on the back burner. It’s pretty awkward, and again, because of the high grate, the flames are closer to your stirring arm than you’d think. I considered installing it sideways to fix that issue, but due to the placement and size of the knobs, it would really take up a lot of counter space this way.

As for the flames, i see other reviewers saying that they do not go low enough. This is true if you follow the picture on the dials. However, if you rotate them the opposite direction, as if turning them off, the flame is much more controllable and can be very low. Hopefully this isn’t an unsafe practice, and I can’t actually recommend doing this because I’m not sure, and it isn’t suggested by the manufacturer. However, I personally haven’t had any issues so far.

The fittings that were supplied with this unit were not good. The piece that was supposed to screw into one end the regulator was so poorly machined that it had a huge sharp burr on the bottom, where it is supposed to make an airtight seal. I noticed this after attaching everything for a leak test, and found that, even with the appropriate thread tape, there was a severe leak at that very point. I had to purchase new fittings for both ends of the regulator. I bought from reputable brand names, so the replacements were not particularly cheap.

A friendly reminder to leak test all propane appliances throughly, with soapy water on each joint!

I purchased it “used - like new” so it was much cheaper than normal. I would have been upset if I’d paid full price, due to the size and need to buy extra parts to make it safe.

The three stars in this review are for the product only, not my rating of Amazon warehouse. I’ve bought a few products this way in the past, but this time was a huge miss. The stove was sent in an overly large box, with very little padding and all the accessories rattling around loose inside, so it arrived broken and beat up. One of the thermocouples had actually poked through the outside of the box and was bent beyond repair, and the corresponding ceramic electric lighter was shattered. I bought replacement parts on eBay and wait for slow shipments from China. I was able to find appropriate parts by measuring the ones I had and hoping for the best. I did contact Empava through their customer service email, hoping to purchase replacements from them, or get part numbers at least. I fairly promptly received an email reply, asking for my purchase receipt so they could ship me replacements. However, because this was bought used, I wouldn’t qualify for warranty service.

Since I bought this to solve an urgent issue, I was upset to not have a working stove for a couple more weeks while I waited for all the extra parts to arrive.

To Amazon’s credit, after some back and forth and having me provide photos of the box and damage, they gave me a full refund. Due to safety restrictions returning propane appliances, I was able to keep the unit.

After installing the cooktop, tried to light it using the built in spark generator. A long bang resulting, any both the GFCI plug, and the breaker tripped. I called the support line suggested by Amazon support chat bot. After a long-time on hold, the call was disconnected.

I took the top off the cooktop, and noticed a burned spot just over one of the 120vac terminals. The terminal had been bent up during manufacturing, insuring that a direct short happened when actuating the lighter.

Poor quality control, and a dangerous result. I would return, but returns are not allowed because it is a propane appliance.

Only buy if you want to waste your hard-earned money and potentially get a “shocking” surprise.

What a brilliant product!

I always thought the stove in US is quite weak, but this piece mind read me. The craftsmanship is very fine, much similar to back in UK; therefore, the result turns out to be similar in UK which is what I always preferred.
