So, my five-year-old daughter apparently decided to take charge of our Amazon Fresh account, and what does she order? Colombia Ground Coffee, Medium Roast. Yep, because what every kindergartener needs is a good cup of Joe to start the day, right?
Now, I have to admit, when the package arrived, I was initially impressed by her taste in coffee. Colombia? Medium roast? This kid's got some sophisticated palate for someone who still can't tie her own shoelaces!
But let's talk about the coffee itself. First off, the aroma. As soon as I opened the bag, I was hit with the scent of Colombia's finest. It's like a little piece of South America made its way into my kitchen. Bravo, daughter, bravo.
Then there's the taste. Smooth, rich, with just the right amount of kick. Forget juice boxes, she's going straight for the coffee mug in the morning now. I mean, who needs nap time when you've got caffeine, right?
But here's the kicker: She doesn't even drink it! Nope, she just wanted to feel like a grown-up, ordering coffee like a boss. So now I'm left with a bag of premium Colombian beans, courtesy of my daughter's impeccable taste and questionable decision-making skills.
But hey, at least it's great coffee. And who knows, maybe by the time she's in high school, she'll actually start drinking it. Until then, I'll just enjoy my morning brew and try to keep her away from the espresso machine.
