I am really pleased with this puzzle. All of the pieces are well (so far I've only assembled the edges) . As I sorted the puzzle, I could see that all of the colors are very vibrant and all of the pieces are clean cut and separated by the manufacturer. I did not have to separate any pieces from others, which I think is the first time ever and I've done many dozens of 1000+ piece puzzles.
The puzzle pieces initially gave me the impression that they are flimsy. But, they are not! They are thinner than puzzle pieces in most, if not all, of the puzzles that I've done BUT they are super solid/strong! None of the pieces show any signs of delaminating. It is almost as if they are solid plastic,but they are not. I used a maginifying glasses to look at the construction. There are at least two layer: a bottom layer with letters you can use for sorting into sections; and, a top layer which has the printed image on it. There may be more layers, but I don't think so. These are really nice pieces. There was no dust in the plastic bag thst the pieces came in. The puzzle pieces have a tremendous variety of shapes.
The puzzle came with a separate picture so you don't have to look at the box lid. The picture is about 1/3rd the size of the puzzle which is fine for this picture which does not have pieces a lot of places where pieces could be confused for others. I prefer full size pictures, although I generally don't look at them more than a few times unless im doing a really complicated puzzle (like one call "MATH" that I am also currently doing). Then I have to look closely. I know some other people prefer pictures scaled down like this one to save space on the table.
Having completed this puzzle, I found it to be fairly easy to assemble, probably a 4 or 5 where 10 is the hardest. I assembled the edges, then each of the flowers, and then the areas in between the flowers. I only had to you the photo of the finished puzzled to organize the finished flowers into their approximate relative location and then, again, at the very end for the last couple of dozen pieces that were just portions of stems or 95% colorless background pieces. I enjoyed doing this puzzle.
I final note regarding assembly. The pieces, which I'm guessing were laser cut, do not hold together very well. This makes it very difficult to move sections around as a unit. I ended up using a piece of rigid plastic film from some packaging to slide under the pieces that I wanted to move and then to move them where I wanted on the plastic and slide them into place. Also, if you lay your arm across the pieces, some will definitely cling to you arm and easily come out of the puzzle. I've dropped my rating from 5 stars to 4 stars because of this. That said, I prefer these puzzle pieces to splintery wooden pieces.
Overall, I give this puzzle 5 stars since it is one of the best constructed puzzles I've done and has a vibrant picture.

The pieces are fairly small but they fit together well. It was easy to see when you found the right connection. There are letters on the back of the pieces but I chose not to reference them. I’m not sure how it was laid out with the labeling or if that would help if you get stuck. I was confused why there weren’t 50 flowers but then I looked at the back of the poster. Apparently some states share the same flower :)

Also, the flowers are listed, but the states are not! I wouldn't have taken up that much extra room to put the state abbreviations next to the flowers - especially since I believe some of the states have the same flower. The whole time I was sitting with this puzzle, I found myself wanting to look up the state the flower came from - which distracted me away from enjoying the puzzle.
The poster/picture of the puzzle that comes with it is a nice size and the images on the back side are pretty, but a bit random, with the birds. The pieces fit together well and the letters on the back are helpful if you want/need to cheat a bit.
For the price, it's a decent puzzle, but overall, it's still so-so for me.
