I was looking for a quite fan for our bedroom, the Hunter fan as promised it just that. It has three speeds and each is very quite. I would recommend Hunter if your looking for a reasonable priced fan, that would go well in any room.

Great fan and pure white to blend in with my sloping white ceiling. The only problem was they assumed that I would want it mounted either close or really close to the ceiling. With a sloping ceiling I needed a longer down rod so I had to pick one up at Lowes so the blades would clear the low side of the ceiling. Not a major problem just an irritation. Other than that it is super quiet and very smooth running on all speeds.

I have a hunter 52 inch blade fan and love it. I was worried about the size for another room so went with the 42. While the fan is the same, works well and motor not loud I just don't like the blades as well. Works fine and produces a lot of air flow but the look of the blades is different and not double sided like the 52 (white on both sides of the 42).
