I really like this as a descrete hide for my shrimp that I can peak into. My beta can absolutely jam himself in there (although he has no issue getting out) so it isn't a 100% "safe space" for my shrimp, but they still enjoy it daily.

These are very small and are very light. So light that when you add substrate, it has a tendency to move away from the glass. This allows more substrate to fall inside the little cup. I have found a solution. I found three very small and flat rocks, and I actually glued these cups to them so that the cups pressed up against the glass. This helped keeping substrate from filling up the cup.
