Fun and educational

This is a great game that you won't feel too bad about letting your kids play. It is good for their thinking and visual discrimination skills. It also involves some reading skills since the game highlights the words as it reads them out loud and will repeat the word if your child presses on it. It's just the right amount of spooky too.

I can't finish the game!

I bought this as a nostalgia gift for myself, and was incredibly disappointed to find out one of the items I have to search for does not respond when clicked on: the "face made of spots" in the blue room butterfly frame. I even uninstalled/reinstalled the game, and that still did not fix the issue. Thank goodness for this company's generous return policy, because I have no choice but to use it.

Edit: I got a free replacement copy, still sealed in the plastic and everything, and it had the same exact issue. These defective discs must have come from the same production batch or something, or maybe the original programmers just never thought to fix the problem in the first place.

I have 5 and 7 year old boys and they absolutely love this game. The moment I put it as a reward on their chore board they were just looking for things to clean and chores to do so they could earn this game. It has been a fun addition to our Ispy collection.

This CD-ROM game still functions for windows 10. Shipping was handled poorly, but despite some confusion regarding my purchase, I ultimately got what I was looking for.

Did not operate as advertised on your site. It would not work with my Mac's operating system OS X. Really disappointed with these results.

Best I spy ever

II bought this for my son when he was 3, he is now 5 and has loved it ever since. We have finished the game several times over the years, but he never seems to get sick of it. The graphics are great, the house is so cool and there are so many levels that its hard to get board of it. My son couldn't read at first so he would use the mouth symbol to play back what the items he was searching for were and then continue to find them. For some reason he would remember what he had already found and what he hadn't, so I guess its great for building memory skills in young children. Sometimes we will play this together and sometimes he just wants to do it by himself. Worth every penny.

For Older Mac Operating Systems Only

Does not work on Mac OSX 10.6. Per Scholastic tech support, "If you have a newer Mac machine with one of the later OS versions (10.4 or later) the game will not work as it was meant to run on an older system."
